Range of food available at breakfast good. Easy transfer to airport. Restaurant closed & we were not notified of this prior to arrival. We specifically chose a hotel with a restaurant & bar so that we could have dinner without having to go out. No apology from the reception staff about this. Fortunately the Icelandair hotel nearby were very welcoming and we had a delicious dinner there.

Really impressed. Had ordered a room for 3 - my husband and I were visiting Iceland with our 21 year old daughter and we were put in a small apartment- double bedded room for us and a comfy sofa bed for my daughter in what would have been the lounge. Great extras, good shower, modern hotel and decor, very quiet and excellent buffet breakfast. We were disappointed to only arrive late at night and then have to be off relatively early the next day. Would strongly recommend.

The hotel is near the airport. If you dont want to get up at 4 am in Reykjavik before an early flight, you can stay here, sleep longer, have a nice breakfast buffet and a short ride to Keflavik airport. The evening before you can spend at the Blue Lagoon, which is only 20km away. Service personnel was very helpful and friendly.

Good location about 5-10 mins by taxi from Keflavik airport in the small town of Keflavik. Perfect for our late arrival from London on our first night. One way Taxi transfer was paid for by the hotel - they issued a vocuher to the driver on arrival. Great service from the very helpful and friendly reception staff. Morning receptionist called Avis to arrange a pick up for us to take us back to the airport to collect our hire car. Definitely a good choice for an airport stopover.

All of the staff were very helpful. The breakfast buffet was one of the most varied I've seen, including a lot of local specialties, such as smoked and pickled fishes. Room was clean and comfortable. The room felt overheated to me -- but so did the other hotel rooms I stayed in during my tour. Perhaps this is the temperature that Icelanders prefer.

The rooms were very elegantly appointed and reasonably priced for a suite. They were kind enough to not charge us when I inadvertently booked the wrong day and had to reschedule to the correct day. Convenient to the airport. Highly recommended.

Great breakfast included in the room rate. Very close to the airport, friendly staff. Free taxi either to or from the airport. Great value for money. Our flight only arrived at 23:30 so we slept over at Hotel Keflavik on our first night. Can absolutely recommend as a stop over.

We stayed at the hotel on our first night of our Iceland trip, as we arrived really late and it is conveniently close to the airport. The hotel itself is really charming. It definitely has some of the querky Iceland charm. We received a fantastic buffet breakfast, served from 5:00. Wegot a complimentary taxi service from the airport as well. At £50 per room per night, it is the best value for money as far as any European hotel is concerned, not even to mention the pricey Scandinavian places. Room was basic, but had everything we needed. Even had coffee and tea in the room. Highly recommended for a stop over to or from the airport. A slight smell of cigarette smell inthe room, but not really worth mentioning

This hotel is in an excellent situation for Keflavik airport, which is 5 minutes drive away. It is also right on the coast, giving nice views over the harbour, and town, especially from the balcony of the suite on the top floor of the hotel. We thought that the room was lovely, clean, warm and spacious, with a sat.TV In both the bedroom and the sitting room. Also there was a sofa bed, fridge, safe and a generous sized bathroom. The price was very good, being just a little more than the standard double room, and I would reccommend it, if you`re not on a budget. Breakfast was a nice continental buffet, with plenty of choice, and available from 5am. I would say that the bathroom was a triumph of style over practicality. Its designer looks were very nice, but didnt really function well. E.G. The open layout of the shower means that the entire bathroom floor gets soaked, so that the floor towel becomes useless, and you have to paddle around in it. However, this is a minor point, as the bathroom was clean, warm, and a good size.

Stayed here the night before a 7.30 am flight departure - was ideally situated. Did not really use any of the hotels facilities but can comment on the room - it was a suite and ideal for my husband and I and our teenage son - who had a separate room within the suite.

The hotel is close to the international airport and the hotel provides transport if required. Flights start early and breakfast is provided from 5am. It is in a small quiet town with all other facilites. The restaurant is of a particularly good standard. Easy parking. The rooms are less than average Euopean size and bathrooms small. 3 star standard at best. The cost is 4 star standard but this is no different to all hotels in Iceland. I would stay again if flying out or arriving at Keflavik airport

The room a little bigger than average for icelandic hotels. The best part was the breakfast- very good, with egg sandwiches and delicious pastries. Very complete. It looks like the chef puts a lot into what he serves. There were even sandwiches for people who had to leave early and quickly for the airport. They started serving at 5 am. Of course, one of the main reasons for staying here is it's proximity to Keflavik. It was probably 10 min. Away. The room was attractive. The restaurant had good food. The bed was a bit small

Staff anxious to please and to accomodate our special situation, which called for two adjacent "delux" rooms with an extra bed in one of them. They quickly changed the extra bed to a firmer one when we requested it. Location is great for the airport, yet convenient to restaurants, the center of Keflavik, the main road to Reykjavik and neighboring attractions such as the blue lagoon. Free parking. Price very good for 4 stars, expecially for Iceland. We would readily stay here again. The advertised DVD player was not working in our room.

A wonderful place to end our vacation in Iceland. This was the most comfortable hotel we stayed in during our trip and the least expensive.
