Sisustus erilainen, kuuma-allas mukava

Henkilokunta heikosti tavoitettavissa, hotelli melkein tyhja joten vastaanotossa ei ketaan.

Hotelissa on kaunis design, mm puu kalusto, erilaisia historiallisia tavaroita. Altaassa oli isoja kaloja. Hyvä sauna ja lämmin kylpyamme ulkona. Hieno ravintola. Suosettelin hoteli 1 yö tai syömiseen.

1.Ensimäisessä kerroksessa huoneessa oli aina todella kosteaa,kaikki vaatteet olivat vähän kosteat jo aamulla. Joka päivä oli sadetta ja vaatteeta oli´vat sitten oikein märät, eivätkä kuivaneet ollenkaan. 2. Huone oli pieni noin 7-8 neliöm. ja oli vaikea kävellä, koska sängyn ja seinän väli oli noin 40 cm ja myös pieni hylly samalla seinällä. 3.Parkkipaikka huoneen ulkopuolella ja aina varattuna teatterin harjoitelijoilla, jotka opiskelivat samassa hotellissa ja heillä oli kova melu kun he lähtivät pois klo. 23-24 välissä yöllä. 4. Hotellissa oli toinen parkipaikka ravintolan takana ja voi laittaa oma auto kauemmaksi ja kävellä laukkujen kanssa, koska harjoitelijat laittoivat säännöllisesti 1 autoa 2 parkipaikalle ja hotellin henkilökunta ei sano heille mitään. 5. Nettisivulla on vain tietoja hyvästä ravintolasta ja hyvästä huoneesta.

Could not afford to stay there for full stay--I was paying the bill , ( lol ) ,so three rooms pricey--- we stayed at Hafnarfjordur HarborHouse--and Edda--- last last 3 nights ( 5 rooms --11 persons)---We will be back , Thank You Again Takk / Bless gb

We certainly enjoyed the ambiance at the Viking hotel. It was themed well, in a way that felt fairly authentic. It was fun to immerse ourselves in the Viking spirit.

Location just outside Reykjavik very convenient. Short drive both open nature and the capital. Quiet surroundings and Viking style rooms at a reasonable price.

Family bissness good design. Like the fishes outside and sauna and hot top. Breakfast was also very good :) And they offer better room than I order, you should go there to make your woman happy and try food++ the singing Víkings great !

The lift wasn't working one day.

Hot tub Restaurant

We sent special dietary requests but they didn't provide anything so we couldn't eat the breakfast. Dead animals everywhere on the walls.. that is gross They wouldn't organise a kidnapping for less that 30 people and there wasn't any music playing in the cave

Atmosphere

Wifi doesn't work in houses. No hot dishes for breakfast.

Not even Disney could have made a better viking hotel. Everything is viking style without being corny. The restaurant is overprices and the food is ordinary but the decor in the restaturant is awesome.

Buffet breakfast not great -- poor coffee, small selection, kept running out and low quality processed hams, tinned fruit etc. -- not bad just not great for around e100 per night. Quite a long way from Reyk. Centre so car essential Noisy road next door so need to keep windows closed but then it got too hot. Window blinds not blackout. We had two rooms ... larger one (possibly largest in hotel) was big with extra tables but no wardrobe, but other room very small with no room for table or space to spread out luggage. Seems to be regular stop-over with coach parties (german's one night, english school next, then japanese tour). Would stay again ... but only for a one-night stopover on way to airport say.

Very easy to find and lots of free parking. A short walk into town and to the lovely harbour. Good variety at breakfast although it did not change at all so probably best for short stay visitors.

In the description of the hotel it stated that there were black-out blinds - something that I thought necessary as there is 24 hours of daylight in June! However these were a pair of ill fitting curtains that allowed light in all around the edges. The description also said that toiletries were provided - these consisted of one push-type dispenser for soap! A good thing I took my own.

I was only booked in for one night, but it was very good. The only gripe was the breakfast, but I would recomend people to stay here. The staff on the front desk get 10/10 for their help and assistance towards myself, above and beyond the call of duty. Many thanks to them all.

Breakfast, a bit sparse

The location of this hotel was good for our itinerary.

The rooms were extremely small and provided nowhere to put even small pieces of luggage and provided nowhere to sit other than on the bed. The window did not open, and there was no ventilation in the stuffy room. The bathroom was also very small and difficult to use conveniently. The walls were very thin between rooms, and we could hear conversations.

I liked the bathrooms, they were very clean and spacious. The room was also relatively inexpensive.

They treat this hotel like a hostel. The receptionist works as both the hotel receptionist and a worker in the Viking restaurant across the street. If she's not at the desk (which is really never) you have to go hunt her down to have questions answered. The food at the restaurant was also terrible and was a horrible tourist trap.

Good interior, good restaurant near hotel, easy connection with Reykjavik, easy to find without navigator by car, near to seafromt, good view from window, reasonable price (maybe I was in low season in the end of April).

Little bit noisy from a street nearby.

Quirky decorations in the public areas. Very friendly and helpful staff at reception desk. Good breakfast.

Our room was very small. Might have been ok for a single traveller, but too cramped for a couple.

I really like the atmosphere of this hotel and the friendly and helpful staff. I will come again :)

Klantvriendelijkheid. Leuk karakterhotel, alles in Vikingstyle.

In apart gedeelte van het hotel heb je 4 persoonskamers. In deze kamer heb je een trapladder naar de vide. Deze was erg steil en niet geschikt voor kinderen onder de 8 jaar

Þarna var mjög fínt að vera :) fær alveg 4 stjörnur hjá okkur. Morgunmaturinn mjög fínn.

Vi har benyttet hotellet I foråret I forbindelse med en begivenhed I familien, vi synes godt om både personale, indretning, og specielt udsigten ud over fjorden,meget venligt personale,hvor selv ejeren gør sig umage for at man føler sig godt tilpas, vi vil bestemt benytte hotellet, ved vores næste besøg I Island. Tak for et dejligt ophold, også fra vores familie, som vi havde 'lokket' med til Island. Med venlig hilsen Bjarne, Bente, Lejf og Merethe Rosenkjær

Der er ikke noget at klage over, vi blev serviseret fint, på tros af at det var lidt uden for sæsonen, der var mere trængsel, da vi besøgte hotellet I foråret. Tak for 8 fine dage på hotel viking

Miejsce, wystrój

Problem z pokojami. Na miejscu okazało się, że pokój który mieliśmy zarezerwowany już jest zajęty! Pani zaproponowała nam coś innego. I tak mieliśmy mieć widok na port a go nie było, miała być wanna z hydromasażem I jej również nie było... A dlaczego się zdecydowaliśmy na to co nam zaproponowano? Prosta odpowiedź, sam właściciel powiedział nam, że jeśli chcemy zrezygnować to proszę rozmawiać z booking.com I co tu robić? Szukać innego hotelu? Jak już zapłacone! Tak tak, pani nic nam nie powiedziała tylko przyjęła pieniądze, a że to nie ten pokój okazało się jak otworzyliśmy drzwi do niego...
