The comfort was good and everything was clean. The staff was friendly and correct. The bar was in the corner and far from cosy. So at night, the bar didn't invite to drink something and close your evening with a chat. |

Excellent staff and food Had one of the older rooms and it had a bit if a strange smell, although decor and fittings were fine and room was clean and comfortable. |

I did not appreciate much of the hotel, to tell the truth. Let's say, the room was not narrow... The price is far too high, compared to the quality offered and to the other structures I visited. The bathroom was poorly maintained, with the shower clogged and in bad state. The dinner-buffet was too expensive, specially considering the quite poor choice available. There was no trace of the 'thermal swimming pool' shown in the booklets. The room was cleaned just once in three days. This hotel can be defined as the classical 'trap for tourists'. Not by chance it was crowded by groups of tourists led there by tour operators. The only mistaken choice in my 15 days tour all over Iceland. |

It is nice that the booking is available online as there isn't much option in the area. The hotel is pleasant enough and would be recommended at half the price, but there are many much nicer places for not as much money. |

Very friendly staff which helped with room change without hesitation and provided helpful information about the surrounding sights and Iceland in general. Small but excellent dinner menu. Lamb superb! Quiet location. Good value for a decent price. Maintenance staff seemed pretty helpless after a shampoo container fell to the floor of the shower. No glue or clue? |

Zimmer war groß und sauber. WLAN stand kostenlos zur Verfügung. Die Mitarbeiter waren freundlich. Frühstück war sehr sehr dürftig, Es wurde nur löslicher Kaffee angeboten, Sonntags wurde keine Marmelade angeboten. Kein Mitarbeiter beim Frühstück um 8:00 Uhr am Sonntag. Offizielle Frühstückszeit am Sonntag ab 10:00 Uhr!!! Orangensaft schmeckte nach Wasser (Automat war leer, lt. Auskunft Mitarbeiter). Es war eine Abendveranstaltung am Wochenende im Hotel. Daher sehr laut auf den Fluren. Zum Duschen muss das Wasser ca.4 Minuten laufen, bis es warm wird. |

Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und zweckmäßig eingerichtet, der Empfang leider nicht gleich über unsere Reservierung via booking.com orientiert, aber sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und gut. Bier ins Weinglas und kaltes Fleisch vom Bufet, das von einem Koch gereicht wird, sind schon etwas ungewöhnlich. Im Restaurant besteht noch Ausbildungsbedarf. |

Vi blev väl mottagna. Det var trevlig familjär stämning på hotellet. Vi fick god mat såväl på kvällen som till frukost. Det var, med våra mått mätt, lite dyrt. Detta gäller tyvärr Island som helhet.... |

Perushotelli, ei erityisen hyvä mutta ei valittamistakaan, isohko huone (3hh) ja aamupala olivat ok. Kaupungissa sinänsä ei ole mitään tekemistä paitsi hyvä pikku pizzeria! hinta ehkä hieman korkea tasoon nähden |
