Remember to visit the Mýrdal glacier and one of the most beautiful sites in Iceland, Thorsmörk, that consists of amazing mountains and glaciers. The hotel enjoys an historical setting. This is where Njal's Saga took place in the 10th century. The Icelandic Saga Centre in Hvolsvöllur offers visitors a unique opportunity to discover the world of mythology, ocean voyages, and experience the dramatic and fascinating story of the Viking age. The room for 4 was quite spacious, had free and fast wifi Dinner was a bit expensive, but you can eat out

Large room with two sofas and a desk. Third bed in triple room was full size and comfortable. Bathroom was modern. Is used by large tour groups - which can be overwhelming at breakfast time and at checkout.

It has two small hot tubs in the roof to relax yourselves after a hard day visiting the South of te Iceland. The room was big and comfortable enough. Buffet was quite varied, though lacking of sweet bakery and pastries (this seems to be very common in Iceland)

Location was good, near main road. Breakfast was good as well, although nothing special. Hotel seemed a little shabby and run down. Hot tub was turned off when we arrived, and we were told we would have to wait 45 minutes. We didn't bother as it was on the roof with zero atmosphere. Pillows were old and lumpy, although staffer made every effort to find us the best she could out of their stockroom, which was nice of her. No elevator to second floor. Large tour groups seem to frequent this place, so might be an idea to avoid restaurant when they come en masse. Did not stay for dinner for forgoing reason as well as no atmosphere in dining room. Price was very high for what was our least preferred hotel in Iceland.

Très bon hôtel. La chambre familiale est immense, le buffet au restaurant excellent même si c'et un peu l'usine avec les cars de touristes. Bon rapport qualité prix pour l'Islande. Il y a un hot tub sur le toit, ne pas hésiter à y aller. Il n'y a personne!

Su sobriedad y funcionalidad La ausencia de nevera en la habitación. La ausencia de una repisa en la zona de ducha para poner jabon, champoo....(Prácticamente las respuestas son iguales para los otros dos hoteles que me piden opinion)

Hyggelig og serviceinnstilt personale! Gode senger. Stille/ ikke støy. Gratis internett. Mørkt og trist rom. Dårlig ventilasjon på rommet og ikke mulig å åpne noen vindu for lufting. Hullete sengeklær. Litt "kjedelig" middagsbuffet, særlig pga at vi bodde der 3 netter og hotellet har nesten samme buffet-matutvalg hver kveld i sommersesongen; så da spiser man andre steder fom kveld 2..
