Really fast check-inn and check out, no waiting for the room. The staff was incredibly nice, helpfully, well informed and really disposed to answer anything. The breakfast buffet was really good and more than complete . the room really clean with a nice view and big beds "no single beds attached together like in other hotels that I had in Iceland" .

I liked the atmosphere and the breakfasts were wonderful. Be sure that your room includes a breakfast. It was clean and comfortable. Although the staff was helpful, they did not seem to be anxious to give advice about what to see in Reykjavik and we asked several staff what they recommend seeing. We didn't think to ask if there was a bus tour and as we were leaving, we found that there was an excellent tour. It would have been nice to been offered that info. Also, we did not realize that breakfast was not included in our last day's stay. When we went down, as we had for several days for breakfast, we were told to was not included on the last day. Only after asking, did we find that there is complimentary coffee and oranges....this info was not offered by the person that turned us away...seems like that would be something to offer.

Excellent hotel that is located about a 20 minute walk to the main shopping/restaurant area. Taxi's are ready outside if you don't fancy the walk. The hotel's rooms are immaculate and well designed. Buffet breakfast is brilliant with a wide range of hot and continental options. Also lots of free parking available on site.

Spacious room, wooden floor, great view (mountain view room, it costs extra, but it is worth it), free unlimited and fast wifi, excellent breakfast! Distance from the town. It took 30 minutes by foot.

Excellent food in the restaurant and amazing views of the Icelandic landscape. All staff were very friendly and happy to assist with any enquiries you had. The bar was also well manned serving award-winning (and remarkably good) cocktails. Slightly distant from the city centre

The shuttle bus into town was handy. It's a little bit out of town but it is still only a 25min walk.

Hilton Reykjavik Nordica is a very good hotel and you can get a very good price if you book early. The staff is service minded and the rooms are clean, spaceious and comfortable. The breakfast is exellent with a vide selection and plenty of seating. The staff also provide exellent service during breakfast. It is also great that the hotel has a travel desk where you can book day trips from different companies. The staff at the travel desk is also very helpful and service minded. We travel a lot and spend around 30 nights at different hotels every year, and this is absolutely one of our favorites. The hotel is located a 20 min walk from Reykjavik city centre - we didn't mind this at all because we love to walk. The hotel also offer a free bus ride to town, but we think they should have more departures.

View from the room. Room very spacious. Buffet breakfast with extensive choice. Free internet in room (though I'm not sure why as the hotel directory of services listed charges). I was in Room 528 and could hear the elevators at night as they were just next to my room..

Nice and comfortable room with an amazing view. Very helpful and polite reception and other staff we were in contact with. Quite convenient to have a tourist center (ita) at the hotel. Visitors should be aware that the location is outside the city center (a good half hour's walk). There is a shuttle bus, but departures are few.

Clean and professional with a personal touch. Front desk assisted us in obtaing tickets to a concert that had been sold out with seats no longer available to the general public. This was exceedingly important to our adult male son. PS. We [ his momand Dad] too enjoyed it Standard rooms face parking lot thus we upgraded once we got to hotel in order to enjoy an unobstructed view of the water. Well worth the extra $45 USD

Staff were friendly. Free car parking. Everything is an extra...extra to use the spa (which has short hours at the weekend), extra for breakfast. Dinner was expensive....food was good, but pricey. Drinks are twice the price of most places. The lifts are annoyingly slow and small. We were sat in the lounge having a pre- dinner drink watching Wimbledon and without asking the bar-tender changed to the football....got him to change it back!

The room was fairly big, with a big window, a comfortable mattress and a very good shower, all very clean. The breakfast was very good, with wide choice of food. Everything is very impersonal, as in every luxury chain hotel: you could be in Reykjavik as much as in Shanghai or in Dusseldorf. The staff in the breakfast room was a little nervous, and unpolite to some travelers (not with us).

“It was clean, comfortable, in a perfect location - and most of all - it was quiet. It had all the necessities a traveller could need + additional space of an apartment compared to a small rooms Reykjavik hotel usually offer. Adjustable radiators are a very very important thing during the winter time as well ! Also, Reykjavik hotels in many cases are situated above or very near to night-clubs or pubs which makes it almost impossible to sleep there during the weekends. I stayed in Welcome Appartments Lindargata 38 apartment, and it has a perfect location - 3 minutes from Harpa conference hall, just around the corner from the main shopping street from one hand and the seashore from the other. Still there are no clubs or pubs next-door. The price was very good as well. I was extremely sattisfied with this choice !!! I will go for their appartments also next time and will not even bother with cheking the hotels !! even the self-chek-in is very convenient !!” Kairi, Tallinn |

“The hotel was clean and well maintained. The hotel was on the whole quiet and relaxing and the room was spacious and comfortable. The free Wi-fi was also very handy, considering I was a business traveller. Furthermore, the staff were friendly and helpful and helped me to book day trip excursions and bus transfers to the airport.” David, Dukinfield |
