Quiet.

Unfriendly staff. Refused to consider allowing a late checkout. Refused to pick up at the airport even though they had shuttle service to and from airport. The shuttle service was the main reason we booked them.

Clean, cheap, good showers

Unbelievably noisy groups in the street until 4.00 am. Breakfast was adequate but shambolic. Keycards for rooms did not work and had to be reprogrammed several times. There is no lift

The hotel is close to the international airport so it makes it easy to catch your flight early in the morning. The staff is welcoming and friendly. The accommodations are comfortable. You will learn about the area, where to go for meals, etc. It is very nice and reasonably priced.

Close to the airport was it's only redeeming feature

Great location if needed for an overnight stay right after the flight - very close to the airport. Looks over the ocean. Big windows in the room. Clean room with new bathrooms. Clean shower. Wi'fi in the room. Free Breakfast.

Staff kindly and welcoming. Perfect position for an early flight, very close to the airport. Back rooms have a lovely see view.

Hotel Manager not particularly friendly. Facilities and breakfast show room for improvement (lamps and fan not working; patches on the wall).

This hotel features dog crap on the floor. When I arrived, sombody had trampled dog crap from the streat into the lobby and the carpet going up to the rooms. They had wiped it off on some of the stairs. It was still there when I left two days later. If you want dog crap - go to this hotel. It was totally absurd - the staff was rude and unhelpful. The wireless interenet didn't work - and I chose the hotel so that I would be able to work from my room. The hotel is positioned right next to a bar and a club, which blast loud bass music all night (even on a tuesday). There was lots of drunken screaming, loud bass, bottles smashing etc. The 'breakfast' was apalling - the hotel is grossly understaffed in the morning. They have this bizarre system where they put food out in very small quantities to deter you from eating much. For a room of 30+ people, they had a small 1 litre vat of coffee, and would put ham and chesse out five slices at a time. So everyone was permanently lined up, and nobody from the hotel staff could be found to help. It is a really bad place to stay if you have anything in the way of a deadline. I was in town for business, and was constantly at odds with the hotel - I think recreational travellers would experience the same problems.

Staff and location (downtown Keflavik) were excellent. There is a grocery store a few blocks to the east, if you want to eat on a tight budget. The location was convenient to shopping, gas stations, and our BlueCar rent-a-car drop-off location. On the shore side, I could actually see the northern lights (aurora) from the bed. The room, beds, and WC/Shower were very spacious.

Rooms were dimly lit and furnished. Another light is needed on the dresser table. Another chair, luggage stand and trash can would be helpful in the room for 2. There was some street noise through the night, but nothing extreme or unexpected. None of these issues were enough to diminish the overall comfort.

I arrived in Iceland on 7th September and was looking forward to spending 10 days with close friends. I had a wonderful time. i so enjoyed being with them and meeting up with other friends. The weather was lovely and the scenery spectacular. However there is a very early start for the flight to Glasgow on i7th so my friend booked a room for me in your hotel. It was an excellent idea. The hotel was very comfortable. I enjoyed my chat with the lady on duty-she was on duty for very long time as the hotel was very busy and appreciated th lift to the airport. Very many thanks Nancy

Fantastic north Views with great large windows. We were fortunate that we had a clear sky the night we were there. We were lucky to be treated with a fabulous display of the Northern Lights. The night Manageress was very efficient, courteous and helpful. This made our one night stay very pleasant and free of stress. The Hotel is literally 2 miles from the Keflavik Airport. If you have an early morning flight to catch as we did, the location of the hotel was perfect.
