Staff and location (downtown Keflavik) were excellent. There is a grocery store a few blocks to the east, if you want to eat on a tight budget. The location was convenient to shopping, gas stations, and our BlueCar rent-a-car drop-off location. On the shore side, I could actually see the northern lights (aurora) from the bed. The room, beds, and WC/Shower were very spacious.

Rooms were dimly lit and furnished. Another light is needed on the dresser table. Another chair, luggage stand and trash can would be helpful in the room for 2. There was some street noise through the night, but nothing extreme or unexpected. None of these issues were enough to diminish the overall comfort.

I arrived in Iceland on 7th September and was looking forward to spending 10 days with close friends. I had a wonderful time. i so enjoyed being with them and meeting up with other friends. The weather was lovely and the scenery spectacular. However there is a very early start for the flight to Glasgow on i7th so my friend booked a room for me in your hotel. It was an excellent idea. The hotel was very comfortable. I enjoyed my chat with the lady on duty-she was on duty for very long time as the hotel was very busy and appreciated th lift to the airport. Very many thanks Nancy

This hotel staff is excellent. They did everything we asked for and more. When our cab didn't show up to take us to the airport the hotel owner drove us. The hotel is very clean and in a great location. The rooms are bland and could use a little decorations, but very comfortable. We would stay here again for sure!

Clean, cheap, good showers

Unbelievably noisy groups in the street until 4.00 am. Breakfast was adequate but shambolic. Keycards for rooms did not work and had to be reprogrammed several times. There is no lift

The owner was very pleasant and helpful and tried to meet our needs promptly and fully. She was always available and very professional in her attitude. Our only complaint is the shower door which somehow did not prevent water from going on the floor outside the shower. The location was close to the airport which we needed. The room was spotless. A good choice for our overnight stay.

Only the shower door didn't close fully permitting water to leak onto the bathroom floor. Everything else was very good.

Staff very helpful. We were going to try to use the bus system for excursions to the Blue Lagoon and to Reykjavik. The staff recommended a car rental instead because it would be much more convenient and much cheaper (and they arranged for the car to be brought to the hotel for us and we could drop it off at the airport). It was exceptionally convenient and it was about half to a third of the bus cost (2 people traveling).

Breakfast was included in the price and it was very good.

No breakfast at 7.30 in the morning, room wasn't cleaned, beds not made up and bathroom untouched.

Small, spartan room (but very clean and comfortable, with TV and wi fi).

Obwohl wir vor 14 Uhr angekommen sind, waren die Zimmer fertig und uns wurde auf Nachfrage auch gestattet den Büro-PC zu nutzen.

Das von uns für 5 Uhr bestellte Frühstück war nicht fertig. Erst nachdem wir darauf hingewiesen hatten, dass wir um 5.30 zum Flughafen müssen, wurde das Frühstück bereitgestellt. Diese dauerte über 20 Minuten, so dass uns nur die Zeit für einen schnell getrunkenen Kaffee und einer Scheibe Brot (ungetoastet) blieb.
