Icelandair Hotel Klaustur

Staff was good, food was adequate (a big deal in Iceland), and it was generally a pleasant stay.

The bathroom floor would have benefited from a good scrubbing--with soap.

Add area with WiFi internet access

Liked it a lot more than I thought based on the reviews. Very nice place

Needs hairdryers

The beds were comfortable, it was basically clean and it is in a good location between the golden circle and the icebergs.

Very expensive for the quality. No refrigerators in room, broken cup for tea, shampoo in small packet instead of the normal bottle, internet use limited to common areas,

Staff was professional

Dinner was very expensive for what was provided. Also, while Reykjavik Excursions bus took us directly from hotel to Laki creaters, bus driver made me and my 8 year old son walk back to hotel upon return from gas station pickup on the edge of town to the hotel. This was outrageous. If he was unwilling to drive us back to hotel he should have had us drive to gas station pick-up and leave our car there prior to lour leaving for the day trip.

The hotel was very clean and neat with a pleasant design. The rooms were very nice. The front desk staff was very helpful with directing us to nearby sites.

Very helpful staff, very smoothly run hotel. Pleasure to stay there.

Would have been nice to include breakfast in the room price.

Hotel Klaustur is located on a strectch of road right between Höfn and Vik, it provided a nice break from driving and is very comfortable. The food is wonderful!

Modern, bright and clean hotel with friendly staff and good facilities. Free internet use. Good food at reasonable prices.

Tea and coffee facility in rooms lacking.

It was very quiet in or room but this is possibly due to the low numbers saying at the hotel.

Unser Superiorzimmer in der 1. Etage war geräumig und ruhig

Die Duschkabine im Badezimmer wirkte renovierungsbedürftig. Wenig Auswahl beim Frühstücksbuffet im Vergleich zu den anderen Icelandair-Hotels Herad und Fludir.
