I like the lack of pretentiousness in the CenterHotel Klopp; the relaxed friendliness of the staff; the superb situation (very central, plus some rooms have views of Mount Esja!) -- and the breakfast buffet is pleasant in the light-filled foyer. The rooms are naturally heated: with radiators, and with windows that open -- rather than with air-conditioning, which for me is very welcome. They do not keep copies of 'What's On in Reykjavik' -- everywhere else does, and they should! |

Reception and management were helpful. Minibuses to connect with excursions stopped outside. It was an excellent base for exploring Reykjavik. Many public buses passed the door. |

The hotel is very close to downtown shopping. Restaurants and pubs were all close. The room had two beds and more than enough room for one person. The Wi-Fi in the lobby was convenient |

They prepared extra breakfast at 4 in the morning, because we were leaving so early. |

The hotel was within walking distance of most of Reykjavik's sights. Breakfast was included in the price which was a bonus especially if you're off early on a trip. All the staff were very helpful and more than willing to assist in any way. The bed was very comfy and the room was lovely and warm (you can adjust the heat to suit). Some of the rooms could be a bit cramped and if you plan to stay on a Friday or Saturday night make sure you request a room at the back of the hotel as it can get very noisy, well into the early hours of the morning. |

The hotel was clean and the staff helpful. The served a variety and plenty of breakfast foods to eat. The hotel was located in the center of town. It was difficult to find when it was dark outside as the only signage was etched on the hotel window and could not be seen. Having a sign that was easier to see would be helpful. |

Fantastic staff! Good value for the location and high costs in Iceland. Great location, right down from the shoping street and many tour busses pick up at the hotel. I will stay here again!! |

The breakfast was very good. The room was clean, good lighting. Bed was fine.Friendly staff. Free internet. Very slow internet. Although the staff was friendly, they did not communicate information very well. (Not a language question, they all spoke very good English.) Very noisy restaurant across the street (actually not the restaurant but guests leaving, vomiting in the street etc). |

1. The staff was very kind. 2. The location is excellent, very central and we did not have any problems with noise from the street, as we were afraid of. Cleaning wasn't good. They say they change sheets every day, but they definitely don't. Our sheets were obviously dirty, and the cleaning lady did not see it and did not change. I had to complain at the reception, and they gave me new sheets. Breakfast was nice, but it is exactly the same every morning, and for 10 days it's a lot. |

The location was fantastic! It was just far enough from the main street keeping it a little bit quieter than the other hotel that we stayed at (which was on the main shopping street). Beds were really comfortable, breakfast spread was good. |
