Very nice room with a beautiful view from the window. Really good breakfast. The staff will introduce details about the scenery and also the visit time. These were the most incredibly nice people you could ask for! We had a fantastic experience here - which is amazing because we heard a lot of great icelandic and folk stories from the host. Highly recommend :)

Friendliness of the owner and the local inforamtion that he can provide. The owner is a local person who has lots of icelandic information available.Although it is a homestay the rooms upstairs are very comfortable in comparison to more expensive accommodation over the island. Shared bathroom, more of a homestay than a gusethouse.

Encore Merci ;-))

Langey Homestay was really cosy and it definitely feels like you'r visiting local's home! We had to stay there two nights instead of one 'cause of the weather, and it was absolutely great. The owner of Langey Homestay is a wonderful man, he's eager to help you f.ex. in planning your trip and he has many good tips. He is also quite a storyteller, listening his experiences and stories is a good way to spent time.

Excellent host, gave us perfect information on where to go (and not to go in bad weather). Nice big room with great view over the bay! The rest of the old house and bathroom needs some work done, the guestrooms where perfectly fine!
