Excellent manager. Went out of his way to make us feel welcome. Right next door was a swimming pool with hot pots but the hotel didn't mention it or have any signs up about it so we only discovered it the second day (a Friday when it closes early) whereas we could have soaked on Thursday as late as 9pm which would have been nice after our day out hiking. It would be good to feature it at the website for the hotel as being within walking distance. Had we known it would have been one of the things we liked best. We did get in a short swim and soak on the Friday. The price at 190 euros is way too much for what one is getting. About 100 to 120 would be about right

Lage gut für Zwischenstopp zwischen Myvatn und Husavik. Die Zimmer waren schmutzig: kein Matratzenschoner, fleckige, durchgelegene Matratze unter hauchdünnem Leintuch. Frühstücksangebot durchschnittlich in einem großen Speisesaal. Das Hotel erscheint uns sehr passend für Busreisende aufgrund der Massenabfertigung! Das Personal war ziemlich unmotiviert! Für diesen Preis eindeutig zu wenig Komfort und Sauberkeit!
