We had a fantastic stay, we loved the location of the hotel as we were able to get to the city and national park with ease. We found the staff friendly and helpful. Free internet access was useful and breakfast was good. Would have been good to have a kettle in our room with coffee/tea and UHT milk. |

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was compact but well laid out. Restaurant and food options around the hotel seemed limited. Perhaps I wasn't looking in the right place - but most food close to hotel seemed to be just fast food. |

A very nice hotel and the staff was super :). I can easily recommend Hotel Laxnes to anyone who need a clean hotel room for a reasonable price. It is true that Hotel Laxnes is not so near to Reykjavik, but it was easy to take a bus to get there. |

A nice small hotel with all basic amenities. Easily accessible when you rent a car, only 10 minutes from downtown Reykjavik. If you do not want to spend your budget in expensive downtown hotels, this is your choice. WLAN is available but not in all rooms. However, you always get connected around the reception. |

We really liked the location - it is outside the City but getting to the city was very convenient with the bus stop next to the Hotel. There were many places to walk and the countryside was quiet and very beautiful. The people at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. We would return to this hotel if we ever get the chance to return to Iceland . We would most certainly recommend it to people who enjoy walking and the countryside and still be able to enjoy the City. |

Clean, quiet, views - breakfast was good. No desk lamp. No staff around, no room service ie make the bed in the morning, no obvious way to get a coffee or similar during the day. No information on public transport/taxi services in the room. |

Henkilökunta ystävällistä ja joustavaa. Pieni kodikas hotelli, jossa hintalaatusuhde kohdallaan. Sijainti hieman Reykjavikin ulkopuolella, autolla helppo löytää (varmaan muutenkin). Matkustin yksin ja oli yhden hengen huoneita tarjolla. Hotellihuoneessa ei ollut ilmastointia, kuivatin kylpyhuoneen avaamalla ikkunan. Huoneessa ei lämpöpatteria, ainut patteri oli kylpyhuoneen puolella. Se oli kuitenkin riittävän tehokas lämmittämään huoneenkin. |

Hotelmedewerkers zijn zeer behulpzaam. Je hoeft maar wat te vragen of zij regelen het voor je. Kamer is netjes en bij zonneschijn zetten ze stoeltjes voor je kamer zodat je van de zon kan genieten. Het ontbijt is ook zeer uitgebreid en van goede kwaliteit. Het hotel ligt op een kwartiertje rijden met de auto van de binnenstad. Er gaat ook een bus naar de binnenstad. Winkels en supermarkten zijn op loopafstand. Een zeer goede lokatie. |
