Very helpful staff. Good facilities. Location good.
Rooms on the small side. Out-dated televisions in rooms. Spa & pool close by 8pm On the expensive side
Easy to get into the centre, close to main roads and walking distance from domestic airport - and private aviation facilities.
Breakfast not brilliant.
Very efficient staff. Very comfortable room.
Bit far from down town.
Staff addressed all concerns and bent over backwards to help
Perhaps needs a cheaper food option for those who cannot afford to eat in the restaurant every night and because it is a bus journey or a walk away from cafes in town
Nice restaurant/bar. Friendly, helpful staff. Great gift shop. Helpful tourist information attendant. Modern decor in lobbies.
Old, dated rooms. Very small beds. Close to Reykjavik attractions, but many other more centrally located facilities. Booking.com should make it more clear that this hotel is nowhere near the international airport. It's directly next to the domestic airport, which is 45km away from the international airport.
all staff helpful. clean modern design. Nice spa.
planes were taking off until 10:30 PM. Runway warmup is 500 feet from building. scrambled eggs seemed to be of the powdered variety
The hotel lobby and the breakfast buffet.
The slow staff. The outdated rooms that remind one of a hospital or nursing home. Most of all the high room rates and charges.
The staff were very friendly and helpful the rooms were very nice and clean
The food was good. The main desk personel were excellent and helpful
The massage I received was not what I asked for.
Location away from city noise yet within walking distance. Easy to get to with rental car with plenty of Fred parking.
Didn't like the that the spa closed early on Saturday at 7 pm.
Quiet. Window can be opened. Wooden floor (no chemicals from carpet).
Convenient for public transport (+ free bus passes). Helpful staff. Good breakfasts.
Family room for family of 4 with 2 small children was perfect. Restaurant was very good and staff exceptional.
Wifi and breakfast
Swimming pool opening hours ridiculous
The large, warm swimming pool and hot water pool were beautiful and relaxing. I also had a great massage. The food was excellent and the beds comfortable. I would stay here again.
The website did not give detailed information on how to get from the airport to the hotel - a 45 minute journey. One must purchase a plus ticket for the Flybus at the airport.
Location for Reykjavik City airport, Perlan and modest walk into city centre. Good breakfast and reasonable dinner prices. Comfortable beds and good soundproofing.
. Very helpful and cheerful staf. Free bus pass made our short trip much easier.
We arranged airport transfer the evening before departure, form was filled in by receptionist. On day of departure discovered at very short notice that we had not been registered by the lady in the shop within the hotel. As 8 of us could not fit in booked bus we were initially told we would have to pay for 2 taxis. After further discussion hotel booked and agreed to pay for a large minibus to take us to town on time.End result was satisfactory but not easy.
very friendly staff, large view on the domestic airport and sea and midnight sun, outstanding internet connection, beautiful spa
very old tv, very slow room service - apparently due to the football world cup, expensive swimming-pool
Clean comfortable Room
The Room was very hot at night even after adjusting the temperature knob. Noise from the Planes Outside our window.
Staff were very efficient, polite and helpful. It was warm considering the miserable, cold weather outside - summer solstice!
Breakfast was not included and we were not asked when we checked in and I subsequently realised we could have paid up front and saved money. An extremely expensive hotel for very basic facilities. We had an upgraded room which was like any other basic, boring hotel room. Although we had access to the spa there were no appointments available when I enquired. We knew it was a walk away but I would be tempted to stay in town if I ever returned as at least there would be things to do else you feel a little stranded and we didn't want to keep driving or waiting for the (free) bus.
Spa area The excellent and fresh restaurant Nice gym
Lounge opening hours
Everything but the crowds
Too many tour groups, but I realize that is your business.
The people at the reception were very nice and helpfull and the one who helped us with tourbookings were also very helpfull
There was no coffee available at the room and the TV was hopelessly out of date
The breakfast was very good. The staff was helpful and pleasant.
Evening meal at the hotel restaurant was good but we had to wait a long time to be served. The hotel is a bit far from the centre of town
