Location Large space Clean Quiet
Outside of house needs to be renovated
Hospitality - they were very welcoming and offered to print details for is and call to book buses and tours. Great location - short walk to the town, grocery shop just round the corner. Quite street but again very short walk to restaurants and pubs.
The penthouse apartment was exactly as pictured. Very very nice accommodation (beds, kitchen, etc.). Very well situated and the staff was very kind.
Location and comfortable apartment
The view wasn't really of the city or the sea, just the other buildings next door. Bathroom door doesn't close, doors to balcony need attention!
Very convenient location. Clean with modern decor.
Some street noise at the weekend. Bathroom off main kitchen/living with no window or fan.
Perfect penthouse flat with fantastic view from the balcony. Superbly equiped (washing machine, tumbler, kitchen appliances etc.) Centrally situated. Fair price for Icelandic standard.
Handy, easy walk to everything downtown, including a great bakery and a grocery store each just a block away.
If only there had been paper towels in the kitchen, but we left the remainder of our roll for the next folks.
The location was excellent - within walking distance to everything downtown! Souvenir shops, food, pubs....grocery store and breakfast bakery! Daniel in the front office was very helpful, courteous and went beyond to help with my booking. The owners came and changed a light bulb within 2 hours of my call. I could not have asked for better service.
The only possible tiny issue was that I was on a bottom floor and I could hear the folks upstairs as if they were in the next room - so I used earplugs when sleeping and it was no problem. That happens a lot when staying on lower floors, so I always bring the plugs just in case.
Location Staff Appartment
Very noisy! Not from the street but you could here every footstep frim the apartment above and from the staircase. Price but it seems to be the same everywhere in Reykjavik.
The apartment is in a great part of the city - and Reykjavik itself is brilliant - you can't fail to have a good time. The rooms were pretty plain, clean and functional - with good WiFi.
For the price, these rooms felt quite shabby and basic. It is an expensive country to visit but I imagine better value apartments could be found. The staff are very seldom around to help, either.
We felt at home, loved just staring out the windows and admiring Reykjavik from the balcony. Thank you for responding to all of our problems, which were all small.
The family upstairs from unit 20 made terrible racket that carried through our ceiling. We did not like leaving when our vacation ended. We wish we could have stayed.
Fabulous location, close to the action and shops!
Beautifully decorated apartment with everything we needed (and more). Quiet, clean, central, charming.
Very nice, updated, and spacious apartment. Owner was very accommodating and gave us suggestions where to eat, bakery, grocery store, etc.
Proximity to Reykjavik city center.
Value for money. I paid 597 euro for 3-night stay but the ideal range to spend on this type of accommodation would be no more than 125-150 euro per night.
You couldnt better the location, it is right in the centre of the city. Amenities really good - wi-fi good, kitchen spacious (with tea, coffee, herbs etc), bathroom excellent(with towels replenished every couple of days), beds really comfortable
The walls were a bit thin, so we could hear all the comings and goings of upstairs and next door. Fortunately we didnt have party people so we slept okay.
bright, cheery, white interior well stocked kitchen supplies
-circular stairs very narrow & difficult to maneuver bags. -shower stall about 22" wide door very difficult to get into with nothing to hold onto AND it is about 12" off the ground so when stepping out onto towel on slick floor with nothing to hold onto through the narrow door - it is dangerous. -very noisy. 2 different guests stayed above in succession and slept only from midnight to 4am. You could hear them walking around into the night.
The apartments were clean and nice. We enjoyed are stay.
The weather did not greet us very well but how can one complain about that. It is what Mother Nature hands out.
Fantastic apartment. Extremely well equipped even down to herbs and spices. The staff at reception were well informed and very helpful. Would definitely recommend Luna Apartments
Friendly, helpful staff. Great little well equipped apartment in an area close enough to walk everywhere in the city we wanted to go.
Expensive, although not out of line with other nice place in the city.
full kitchen large room location of our apartment comfortable bed free wifi good satellite TV free local calls pleasant & knowledgeable office staff
-limited office hours -difficult to reach staff when office was closed -inability for others to contact us in apartment by phone (no phone #)
Fantastic location close to town, shops, and waterfront. We loved this location. Supplies (coffee, tea, sugar, spices) were nice to have.
There was nothing to dislike about the Luna Aparments.
We rented a recently renovated penthouse apartment - so lovely. We loved everything about it. Excellent location near the shops and restaurants on a quiet street. Beautiful kitchen, balcony with lovely views of the city. It was light and bright with sky lights, and the geo-thermal heating meant no drafts, no cold nights, so cozy. Beds were very comfortable. Very clean and well kept. Ellert the owner was so helpful leading up to our stay, answering my questions via email and giving us great tips on transportation, sight seeing etc. The office staff was so nice and efficient and we really felt happy that we rented there instead of getting a hotel.
We liked everything about it. Two negatives that were corrected right away: 1) one bed didn't have sheets on it when we arrived. 2) the cleaning person did not come to clean and replace towels on the appointed day. The sheet situation was rectified immediately. New towels were brought to us right away after we notified the office - they apologized profusely. They seemed very concerned that the cleaner had not come. They would have sent her over the next day to do the clean but we didn't really need it - just needed towels. So it was fine.
Location was great, it was in a quite area but still right in the center of the city by walking just 5 minutes.
The studio flats are a bit small and i would provably take the 1 or 2 bedroom apartments next time .
