The one we stayed in was the middle floor of 3 and there were some loud noises from the family living above which we are not used to.
We accepted the upgrade offer which put us 2 blocks from the centre. It was a warm, cozy, nicely furnished apartment - way too much for our needs. A nice view across the roofs and close to some superb restaurants and the local shop. Lots of coat racks to hang and dry out coats!
The coffee machine had not been cleaned after the previous tenants. The lounge room is a bit cramped.
Great location near the main street, but still fairly quiet. Good facilities (dishwasher and washing machine) with a well equipped kitchen. We managed to find parking even though it was the Easter long weekend.
Everything you need for a short stay and the kitchen facilities are a real bonus if you don't want to eat out
Our apartment was on the top floor with no lift. No prolem if you are fit. Could provide a wok as there is a specific burner for one.
Great location, excellent service from management, lovely big bed, good shower. great for a family or a couple if you like lots of space.
Excellent Location meaning walking distance to anywhere central. Fantastic informative staff. The one bedroom apartments have generous space, good kitchen & living areas. Free Wi-Fi throughout the place.
no adverse experience
My husband and I were on holiday with my daughter and son in law. We had a very comfortable stay at the Luna apartments. The staff were very helpful.
Nothing, loved it all.
Amazing apartment in a great location. Everything you need including a travel adapter!
The room was of ample size, great location & good amenities. The staff was so unbelievably helpful.
We could walk nearly everywhere we needed in Reykjavik. We stayed in the one bedroom deluxe apartment. It was clean and spacious. We would definitely stay there again!
Narrow, steep stairs to our first floor apartment . If you struggle with stairs, make sure you ask for an easily accessible apartment.
Central, spacious, tasteful decor, wonderful bed, excellent cleaner.
Expected a beautiful white apartment as in pics on booking but was v disappointed wen the actual apartment we stayed in was old and outdated even after we were upgraded...pay careful attention to this when booking type of apartment
A little noisey on the Saturday night.
Excellent location and staff.
Great staff, very helpful and a great location
The kitchen area was poor and not what was expected
Helpful friendly staff
Great location, clean, great communication prior to arrival, excellent service from the staff. Definitely reccomend.
Note for sharing couples- the extra bed is not separated by a wall from the main living quarters. This wasn't really an issue for us.
We stayed here with another couple. The room was warm (key in Iceland in winter!) and very practical. The balcony off the kitchen had a beautiful view over Reykjavik. The kitchen was well appointed, with sharp knives (always a telling feature). The check-in procedure was easy, friendly and full of good advice on what to do.
Wifi could have been a bit faster, TV controls a bit fiddly.
Fantastic apartment in perfect location, surprisingly snug and warm in the cold weather !
The weather changes very quickly so go for long enough to allow time in case bad weather stops you seeing everything you want too.
great location and so good to have a kitchen as to eat out is very expensive. Expect to pay £40 plus a head for a very basic meal with 1 drink.
The staircase is quite steep getting up to the apartment. If you were older it might be difficult getting your luggage into the apartment. Friday and Saturday night only - noisy from 1am to 5am from the music of the nearby pub and people walking past. If you're a light sleeper this might be an issue.
The apartment is a top floor apartment - no noise from above. The apartment is very spacious. It has a bedroom with a bathroom at one end then a Combined living / kitchen area, followed by 3 bedrooms and another toilet / bathroom. The location is right in the middle of everything. There is a supermarket just around the corner, as is the high street with its cafes and pubs (see dislikes for that one)
A bit noises
Great, will come back again!
Someone had been eating dried fish in the apartment before us. This left a bad smell.
Amazing location. Good space and great material for organising trips around and out of the city.
WiFi was a little unpredictable but was okay most of the time Having to be picked up by tours from a different location was a bit confusing as there are two sites for the Luna Apartments
Location is excellent Staff were extremely helpful Apartment was lovely - Room 303 Would highly recommend
Fantastic location right in the centre, beautiful apartment, great value for money
Comfy warm close to main area will definitely recommend especially rm 401
Everything was outstanding, staff extremely helpful. Would definitely be staying again. Thanks Luna for a fab holiday.
