Although things worked out in the end, the check-in process was a little worrisome and had the potential to end in disaster. There is no reception or staff at all on site. You have to go into the Korean restaurant and call reception from the phone there to find out which room you have and get your keys and other check-in details. I called four times before someone finally answered. From there on, everything went smoothly for us. But if they never answered or anything was missing from our check-in package, I'm not sure what we would've done. The staff at the Korean restaurant were very friendly and great with helping us, though.
Comfortable, clean, spacious apartment right in the middle of the city center. Just a couple of blocks away from plenty of great bars, restaurants, shops, and Hallgrímskirkja. K-bar, the Korean restaurant downstairs, is actually really good too, the best steak we've had in all of Iceland.
