The staff were very helpful when present. Our requests were quickly and efficiently dealt with. We stayed outside the main season - all hotel facilities had closed - there were no staff permanently on the premises. We had to go and seek someone out at a local shop on arrival to get the hotel opened. It is our opinion that this hotel should have shut at the end of August. If it is going to stay open it should offer service or state on the booking that no services will be available and price adjusted. We stayed in 4 hotels in Iceland; this was the most expensive and had by far the least service. There was very little information about local tourist attractions. |

Breakfast O.K. - restaurant pretty clean compared to the rest Dirty rooms, steamy bed linen, disgusting hair in the beds, far too expensive, old ugly furniture in the rooms, reception staff knocked on our door at 7:30h in the morning ... 1star service for 4star price ... we will never stay there again |

Friendly staff, convenient location Extremely expensive, very poor value for money. Booking.com advertised rooms without breakfast for €79 vs. With breakfast and bathroom for €148... except that all rooms included breakfast - we'd have picked the cheaper room if we'd known that. Additionally, I was surprised to see a "mid-tier" hotel with no bars of soap, and no shampoo, etc. Meals are expensive compared to other restaurants in the area. Internet access is only available on the ground floor. The tv is extremely small, and has poor quality picture. |

People at front desk are very kind. The hotel is well located on Snaefellsness peninsula. It's easy to get around. It missed a little cleaning in shared bathroom and shower. |

The Tourist Office were most helpful in recommending alternative trips/activities as we were very dissapointed to discover that the whale watching trips no longer operate from Olafsvik. We stayed in the apartments which have a small kitchen but very little in the way of utensils for cooking. |

Buena base para explorar la zona. Muy buena atención por parte del personal del hotel. Estuvimos en la opción más económica de habitación doble con baño compartido. No está mal para uno o dos dias, considerando que el hotel es de las pocas alternativas de la zona, pero las instalaciones son un poco limitadas (mantenimiento) para el precio. |

Habitación grande en relación con otros hoteles . Ascensor ámplio y rápido. Edificio exterior hotel en mal estado, la puerta de entrada con la pintura descascarillada. Habitación sin frigorífico, sin termo para preparar un café o té, sin pañuelos clinex en el baño, sin secapelos. Sin acceso a internet en la habitación para poder establecer videollamadas con la familia con la intimidad necesaria. Wifi en zonas públicas. Vistas al experior deplorables. El precio de 148,- euros no se corresponde con la calidad del hotel, presenté mi queja a la recepcionista y obtuve un descuento de aprox. 15% .No me interesan los descuentos , pero sí pagar el justo precio por lo que recibo a cambio.Vistas al exterior deplorables. |

Entgegen der Angaben auf der booking.com Seite war das Frühstück im Preis bereits inbegriffen, was uns sehr positiv überrascht hat. Ebenfalls entgegen der Buchung von einem Doppelzimmer mit Gemeinschaftsbad haben wir ein Doppelzimmer mit privatem Bad (ohne Aufpreis) erhalten - war der Aufsteller! Wegen der abgelegenen Lage und der "Monopolstellung" im Dorf (einziges Hotel) etwas überhöhte Preise auf der Speisekarte, die Portionen waren aber recht gross. |

Sauberkeit, sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, atemberaubende Natur in der Umgebung, viele Ausflugs- und Wander-/Sportmöglichkeiten. Blick über den Hafen. sehr schlechter TV-Empfang, Preis im Vergleich zu anderen Hotels etwas zu hoch (durch Wechselkurs bedingt); Einrichtung im Zimmer und Speisesal sehr nüchtern. |

Das Personal hatte offenbar ein Riesendurcheinander mit den Zimmern und hat aus Versehen unseren Zimmerschlüssel anderen Gästen gegeben. Ziemlich unfreundliches Personal. / Unser Zimmer wurde 3 Tage lang nicht gemacht. / Einziges Restaurant im Dorf mit sehr kleiner Karte und überhöhten Preisen. |

Dies war für uns das einzige buchbare Hotel zu diesem Zeitpunkt auf Snaefellsnes. Zimmer mit WC / Dusche war groß, einfach eingerichtet, insgesamt OK; Restaurant im Haus war ebenfalls OK.. Durchschnittliche Leistung zum überhöhten Preis. Würden uns deshalb beim nächsten Mal nach anderen Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten umschauen. |
