The location was perfect for a stay in the center of Reykjavik, we could walk to easily all the amenities. There was sufficient at the breakfast buffet to cater for all needs. The room was clean and modern (with big comfy beds, we had twins as requested) and contained everything that you needed. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The breakfast room (cosiness) can be improved; and the food quality as well. There was a smell of burnt fat all over the hotel at breakfast time.

Staff were friendly and efficient, dealt with a few problems regarding trips etc immediately. Breakfast was excellent and lots of choice, really enjoyed our stay.

Excellent and effective welcome, hotel situation right in the centre of the town, minutes away from shopping area and many restaurants around. can make any reservation for tourist tours, 24 hours around.

rooms may be quite different, sometimes very small. Breakfast may be improved.

Very friendly staff, they were very helpful at all times. Room was comfortable and clean, breakfast was fine. Location is perfect, at a nice square in the centre of Reykjavik, in the middle of an area with many restaurants and close to the shopping streets. Conference centre Harpa is a 10 minute walk.

The breakfast buffet was nice and varied. I like that the hotel was so close to the Harpa Music Hall where I had a ticket for an opera.

I did not like the bed. It was way too hard and very uncomfortable. I had rather seen there was not any television (which I by the way could not turn on) and minibar and instead a proper bed. It does ruin the next day quiet a lot when you have not been sleeping well.

Its location to the city center

NO parking what so ever and it is located in a one way system. I had to find parking quite a distance from the hotel in order to park for free. ie ( in a local residential street) and whats more it doesnt even have a area outside the reception to drop off and pick up. Very poor show!!

I enjoyed my stay. I was merely passing by Reykjavik on my way to an from Greenland - and staying in the hotel only one night each way. Everything lived up to my expectations.

Good location; central in the older part of Reykjavik. For its location, a good price. Rooms were comfortable and attractive. Reasonably spacious, especially by European standards. ***Some*** staff were helpful and friendly.

The shower drain in my first room was blocked and the whole room flooded. (With the flat floor style bathrooms I couldn't tell until it was topo late!) The staff was quick to find a new room on the same floor, but I had to repack in a wet room. The new room had a funny chemical smell, and the bathroom smelled like a swamp, but I didn't want to push my luck.... As to recommending to others, I would, but I would also tell them of my experiences. (I overheard someone else telling of a flooded shower a day or two after my mishap.)

When we first checked in they gave us a third class room which smelled like urine and bedspreads were really old. Room was dark and looked like the furniture had been in it since the fifties.

Nice,clean hotel in the center of Reykjavik, the old harbour nearby. Friendly staff and good breakfast. we had a quiet room on the backside of the hotel in spite of the planes flying in.

The location was perfect. Its at the end of the main street in town so its very close to all the restaurants, shops, bars, etc. However since its at the end of the street (the street ends in a little cul de sac and CenterHotel Plaza is in the middle of that) its not quite as loud outside as some of the other hotels.

Reykjavic is a very wired city, however the WiFi in the hotel was not very strong. More times than not I could not connect in the rooms and would have to go down to the lobby to use the internet. Even then, you had to be sitting in certain spots in the lobby to connect.
