Post-Hostel

Laundry was great, if you aren't told, its in a room off of the kitchen on the left.

The phone to call the owner wasn't working, I ended up connecting to the wi-fi and using skype on my phone, but that isn't an option for everyone. Laundry machine takes a long time to run, hope there aren't multiple people waiting to use it.

the hostel was open when we arrived with nobody there, so my first 5 minutes there were a bit spooky, but dont worry there is a sign to call **2 for someone to come :)

Lovely room in a very pretty little town. Host was quick to respond when we arrived and let us use the laundry facilities. Full kitchen too. Great.

Very nice staff! I was later than check-in time because of the bad weather, And she was still patient and show me the facilities around the hotel. It is the only hostel which provide wash-machine during my staying in Iceland.

Basic but good accomodation. Good shower and bathroom facilities and well equipped kitchen. Right on the waterfront and all is within walking distance. Rooms a bit small but ok forthe one night purpose. Kayak trip along the fjord to the waterfall is well worth it and a nice little activity.

The woman in the recepcion was very kind and helpfull

Belle étape. A l'écart de la ville d'Eglisstadir, Voiture nécessaire mais jolie route pour accéder à ce fjord agréable. Piscine chaude à proximité. Salle de bain commune et cuisine très propres. Piscine chaude à proximité.

The room was quite nice and clean. We could do our laundry ( wash and dry) The bathroom and the kitchen were clean. The guesthouse is near a pub which is really great and original.

Maybe a bit expensive for its worth.

absence de réceptionniste à l'arrivée, en dépit d'une réservation sur internet * seul à la disposition des nouveaux arrivants un téléphone et un numéro à joindre, mais en vain... il a fallu patienter plusieurs heures avant de pouvoir disposer de la chambre (alors que la météo particulièrement dégradée pouvait laisser présumer que les clients avaient hâte de disposer des lieux). Idem pour les formalités de départ, il a fallu attendre le bon vouloir de la réceptionniste... pas de petit déjeuner proposé, seule une salle à disposition des clients, et aucune information en la matière.

Extrêmement bruyant ! La chambre entre les douches et les WC ne devrait pas être louée à ce prix là car il est impossible de dormir avec le bruits des portes, des chasses d'eau, etc. Très décevant pour le prix payé ! Refuser cette chambre !!!

Byens bistro, Skaftfell var super hyggelig. Positiv atmosfære.

Guesthouse trop sonore. Les personnes qui préfèrent une certaine "intimité" doivent s'abstenir.

Rent, rimelig store værelser, fremragende senge.

En spännande byggnad och trevliga rum. nytt och fräscht. Trevligt bemötande. Bra kök.

Het was netjes.

De ligging van de kamer was tussen de gezamenlijke badkamer en het toilet. Hierdoor kon je niet rustig slapen. Ze zouden die kamer niet moeten verhuren en zeker niet voor die prijs.

Propre et sympathique en général. Première saison en opération, alors il y aura des ajustements sur certains aspects mais bon potentiel.

Dans ma chambre, coin de fenêtre à la hauteur de la tête du lit, plutôt dangereux pour s'ouvrir le crâne (malgré petite protection en plastique insuffisante). Quelqu'un pourrait se blesser sérieusement... Cuisine trop petite et peu fonctionnelle si plus d'un repas se préparait à la fois. Matériel de cuisine insuffisant.

Vantaði vask á herbergi. Hefði mátt vera sjónvarp á gangi, ekki bara í eldhúsi.

Super goed en schoon hostel, aardig personeel en uitstekende faciliteiten. We hadden het hele hostel voor onszelf dus genoeg ruimte.

Er is slechts een badkamer voor het hele hostel. Voor ons geen probleem, want we waren alleen, maar wij kunnen ons voorstellen dat het niet altijd ideaal is.

Macht von aussen nicht viel her, aber innen fehlt es an nichts: Sehr saubere und komfortable Badezimmer und Toiletten, gut nutzbare Küche, geräumige Zimmer.

Aardige mensen, mooie schone kamer, keukentje waar je zelf kunt koken, wat prettig is als vegetarier na de bootreis van de smyril line
