Loved the breakfast and the shower
Comfortable clean and super central location
The 1st room we were give was an "upgrade" however, it was made up as a twin room and the bathroom had a problem with the drains. When it became clear there was not a quick fix, they did move us, however, the room should not have been made available to guests in the 1st place.
Lovely and luxurious hotel in the centre of town, walking distance to everything. Great breakfast. I stayed in two hotels during my stay and this was by far the best, would definitely book again. Convenient to the airport expressbus.
Breakfast not included in the room price.
Great location in center of Reykjavik, close to many restaurants, parking spots per reservation. Staff friendly, breakfast with good variety of choice.
They were always decreasing temperature in the room while cleaning.
The hotel was located in old town near great food and drink places. Located near the major roads leading out of the city for day trips. The staff was very helpful and the morning breakfast while a bit expensive it was very good.
The hotel was located above several bars. We were there on a Friday and Sunday nights and there was screaming, drag racing, till three in the morning.
Great location in centre of old part of town near restaurants and main shopping street. Also short stroll to main bus tour office. Hotel very comfortable. Cooked breakfast not great and about £12pp extra. Our room had view of service area only but short days and grey overcast sky made view largely irrelevant.
Disappointed with cooked breakfast.
The hotel is in an excellent location. It is a few meters from the Greyline tour bus stop which take tourists to see the various attractions around Reykjavik and provides easy access to the airport express. It is also close to several decent restaurants. The hotel provides good speed wifi. We were upgrade to an executive room which was spacious.
The Central location also means that it can be quite noisy at night, especially over the weekend. The breakfast was quite expensive. However food in general is very expensive in Reykjavik, so it's probably the same in other hotels too. We shopped our breakfast at a nearby supermarket and used the room fridge to store our purchase.
Location, breakfast, staff, room.
No spa facility in the hotel and in the area.
The location is great.
Lovely food in restaurant. Great location. Quiet every night apart from Friday. Brought us a sweet treat and a note from the manager when they found out it was our honeymoon. Friendly and helpful staff.
Pricey food and drink- especially breakfast. Would be great to have spa facilities. No carpet in room. Towels left in a mess when replaced. More soft furnishings/pictures on wall would make it cosier.
Iceland is a magical place and the radisson blue is in a fabulous location , we will definitely be back
Very pleasant, helpful staff. Comfortable room. Didn't eat in the hotel so cannot make comment about food
Everything was fine and as we wanted
Excellently located in the centre of Reykjavik. We told them it was our honeymoon and they upgraded us to business class for free.
Wifi signal was poor, or just failed. We stayed two nights and on the Friday night noise from local bars and revellers was quite loud and disturbed sleep. Saying that, had we not had to get up at 4am for a flight, we may have been in the bars as well! Cost didn't include breakfast. After travelling round iceland for 10 days, this was one of only 2 hotels that didn't offer it in the price.
Very good location with good shops, restaurants, museums etc and great for site seeing.
We were on the 3rd floor and there are no views to speak off from the room but how long are you actually in the room to be a concern.
Location in the center of the city. Staff were great and helpful. Love breakfast....had fish oil and Omega3 tablets. A basket of sandwiches, juices, fruits was prepared due to early departure. We have enjoyed our stay.
This hotel is very centrally located which made it very easy to get around on foot. close to restaurants, bars, shopping, museums. Breakfast was excellent but expensive.
The bed was not very comfortable, and for a hotel at this rate, it ought to be great. Street noise could be a real issue on weekends as very close to a lot of bars. We stayed Monday through Thursday and did not have a noise problem though.
The breakfast buffet was excellent and the wait staff was very attentive. The reception desk people were friendly and very helpful.
Very good breakfasts and helpful staff
Great location, comfortable, clean and very nice breakfast
Slightly expensive but this is Iceland!!
comfortable well located hotel
Slightly corporate and perhaps lacking the personal touch
Clean and quiet. The bed was very comfortable. Good breakfast. The staff is helpful.
A bit dark and gloomy. Service is impersonal. Fitness room does not have windows.Breakfast is somewhat overpriced like a lot of things is Reykjavic.
Loved the restaurant. Had the BEST breakfast. Dinners were excellent. Local fish and lamb prepared to showcase the freshness, not drowned in sauces to mask the subtle flavours. Did try some dinners outside but value for money and food quality came back to the hotel dining room.
Our room was a little squeezy, but we had luggage for 4 weeks. Several stairs between lobby and lift made getting luggage up them interesting .. No porters.
Very comfortable bed with lots of pillows. Big room.
Location was perfect, everything except the noise was good.
Friday and Saturday nights were exceptionally noisy with loud music and drunken revellers until 5.00am so we got very little sleep - This we were informed was NORMAL for the weekend - Take your noise reducing headphones!!!!
