Just arrived home from a 2 night stay here we couldn't complain about a single thing as the staff, facilities, and everything else wAs absolutely out of this world. We will be back
Breakfast choice was very good in terms of food choice and attentive staff. Room was a decent size.
Room service could have been better. Meal choices at other times quite limited - main restaurant only serves buffet style food.
Helpful and friendly stuff, nice location, delicious breakfast, clean rooms
A window in the room made sound during windy nights, probably it was broken
Handy for city centre. Large car park. Easy to find. Staff efficient.
Room was a bit scruffy. Furnishings a bit battered about.
The hotel was very nice, quiet, with clean rooms and comfortable beds. We attended a conference and the food was very good. It is a walk into the main part of the city, but we enjoyed walking through the streets and it was scenic. The hotel is on the edge of the University campus and you can see the ocean from some rooms. A short walk to the ocean in a residential area. I was expecting a typical hotel, but our room had a large window with lots of light, quiet radiator heat, and to me a Scandinavian feel.
The walk to town might be a problem in the rain or snow. The meeting room was a little small. We were able to use booking.com and get a slightly lower price, but I thought the conference rate of $300 US was way too high for this quality of hotel in September.
Clean and good staff
Uncomfortable bed. Noisy. Poor bathroom. Expensive for what you get
Room was not very clean upon arrival...
Location was good, just 10 min walk from downtown. Wi-fi was fast enough. Breakfast was excellent, one of the best I eat ever. Room was clean and quiet
Staff spent not so much time when I asked to explain me where is downtown and how can I go there. All the things looks as 80s-style, I think all the room needs renovation
Toilet didn't break. Timely resolution of issue noted under didn't like. Staff changed us from a single bed to a room with two beds easily. Staff was nice.
My friend used the toilet extensively in one sitting and it somehow broke the sink and the shower to the point at which they would no longer drain. No AC in room.
Business room with no iron is just not good enough
Staff was great. location is great. bar service was prompt and polite. breakfast buffet was good value in Iceland
do not expect these people to ensure you have a place to eat. The cafes are not always open. When they are open they are sometimes booked full for groups not staying at the hotel. You may need to find supper from somewhere else or eat room service. We tried to extend our stay but they were full. No pool or gym but there are lots of pools in the city.
all hot food served cold at breakfast - poor spa (sauna cold, steam room switched off and smelly)
Nothing in particular
Rather out of the way and a little hard to find. Confused with other radisson near the harbour at first try
Staff were excellent, with the bar area and food really good
Bedroom was small and 'tired'. Breakfast was mainly Luke warm and not value for money
Location Free Parking Room layout Bed comfort Friendly staff Two restaurants
The breakfast buffet was excellent with a great range of selections. The hotel was also conveniently located to the shopping area in Reykjavik. The staff at the front desk were very helpful with directions and making suggestions on things to see.
The room and bathroom needed to be updated. The room also tended to get stuffy even with the top part of the window open. We stayed there in mid-summer so perhaps this is not a problem during other seasons.
Convenient to the airport Good food and service Rooms we're clean and up-to-date
WiFi was spotty Desk and concierge staff were overwhelmed or distracted most of the time Overpriced for level of hotel and service
Staff very helpful, breakfast buffet first class. Not centrally located but very easy walk to all the Reykjavik sights, even if you have a terrible sense of direction as I do!
My stay was too short :-(
It was a nice location out of the heart of downtown, so it was nice and quiet but still close enough that it was only a 5-10 minute walk to get to the main areas
Housekeeping did little more than fluff the duvet. Wifi was very spotty in the room (had to wave my phone in the air to try and find the signal)
All is ok.
Is a bit old and may be better maintained.
Room was small, bathroom small. Hotel was dated needs updating.
Easy drop of and pick up for excursions, comfy room good housekeeping
Food awful and cold evening buffet 3 times we ate here and each time tried to over charge or not apply Carlton discount we now eat out. Breakfast only good early on later cold and run out of juices and dirty table linen staff surly as a frequent traveller who stays with radisson often would give this a 1* dining experience.
Old hotel with a partial renovation that left several improvisations in the rooms. Outdated furniture. Very expensive, it does not worth the money. The Radisson Blue from Warsaw is much better and much more cheaper.
Very poor cost benefit. It does not deserve 4 stars.
The hotel is too expensive for what the offer even comparing with better hotels like Hilton in Reykjavik. The WiFi conexion is VERY bad.
Dinner in restaurant very poor.
