Beautifully located in a green, broad valley this hotel is a perfect place to stay if you plan to travel along the famous Diamond Circle. Newly renovated rooms and bathrooms are very nice, cosy and they are cleaned every day. Breakfast is rich and tasty with locally baked bread, home made jam etc. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

    Everything was perfect.

We stayed in the rooms with our own washroom. The bed was excellent, and the staff were very helpful.

We were the first guests of the season. The TV didn't work well, and we had to run the water for a long time (10 min) to get hot water. No big deal.

Owner was extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Location was convenient to both the Myvatn area and Husavik.

Sulfur smell of the hot water was very strong.

Nicely situated in a central position in northern Iceland; we enjoyed our stay, friendly host; good value meals available fairly locally.

The staff were so kind, staying late so that we could do a late check-in, generously giving us oranges to stave off a bad flu, and allowing us to check-out late again because the flu kept me from being able to move as quickly as usual. Importantly as well, the rooms were very clean, immaculate really. It was a wonderful stay.

Nice in-house restaurant. Could be a nice place to spend a weekend, if they had a couples' room.

Staff brusque, not particularly friendly. We had booked bicycles, but didn't get them. Wanted a shared bed but none were available (not their fault, we booked late).

One common toilet for the whole hotel. Price over 140 EUR absolutely not offered quality. Worst hotel during our week-long circuit Iceland.

They have 2 sulfur hot tubs that were amazing. Very clean and tidy.

The sulfur is also their hot water solution.

Although the address on the confirmation says Husavik, but it is a long drive away (like 20km). We stayed in one of the cottages where the shower is extremely annoying, with very weak pressure and either boiling or freezing water, cant even get a proper shower. It really doesn't worth the amount i am paying.

    Staff accommodating.

Poor sound insulation. Bathroom facilities a little bit obsolete. Rooms with no charm.

    Clean, staff friendly

To expensive compared to other accomodations in Iceland. We also had better dinners (there is no other restaurant nearby)
