On the first night we were given a discount on our meal, although we didn't know it at the time. We thought we were paying regular price, both based on the words of our server and because the wording of the menu was a bit confusing. We went back the next night to order the same thing and were told we had been undercharged the previous night and had gotten 2 meals for the price of 1. We said that's okay, we will go somewhere else since we weren't expecting to pay that much, but the server hesitated and then told us to stay and that she would give us the same deal as the previous night since it wasn't our fault. On that note, we went ahead with ordering dinner as per the previous night. When we went up to pay we were charged regular price and not the deal we were promised and the server just shrugged and said that is how much it costs. We couldn't believe it! We would not have ordered dinner there if the server had not lied about giving us the discounted meal again. Additionally, we asked at check-in to pay for the room using a different credit card than the one used for booking. We were told that's fine as we would be able to settle the bill at check-out and could choose whichever card we wanted at that time. Unfortunately, when we went to check-out, we found that the original credit card had already been charged, and we had no opportunity to choose which card we used to make payment for the room. Overall the staff demonstrated a serious lack of knowledge that made an otherwise acceptable hotel stay very disappointing. I would not recommend anyone stay here.
Breakfast was delicious and there was an excellent selection.
