The view from the hotel was amazing. It was warm and welcoming, and the staff were especially polite and helpful. The room was well equipped and really warm - perfect for a family with a small child like us. On Friday and Saturday night it was very very noisy. Reykjavik has a big weekend drinking culture, and closing time is 4am. We slept with ear plugs on both nights, and this was a bit uncomfortable. Next time, we will request a room at the back of the hotel off the main street. |

The apartment was a good size with plenty of natural light, opening windows and great view of the city. It's location was fantastic if like us you're not bothered by noise from nearby clubs. The WiFi connecton in the room was intermittent. An upgrade of the TV to receive satellite would be a welcome addition |

Rooms were nicely decorated, and they were spacious. Our bathroom had a nice little jacuzzi. Beds were very good, never had better sleep than with these. There was a litte kitchenette which had all the things you need to get food prepared. Location of the place is ideal for all kind of travelling on mind. Everything you need was with a walking distance. Highly recommended. Four thumbs up from two honeymooners :) On weekends friday-saturday, there is a lot of noise coming from nearby streets. Nothing too serious just happy partypeople :) |

It was great that it was right on the main shopping street (Laugarvatn). We loved that we had a kitchenette and a fridge to keep our things in. The tilt-out windows provided for some fabulous cool air, and since it was light out 24/7, the black out curtains made for some excellent sleeping conditions. We felt safe as the front door requires keying in a password to get in. It gave us the feel of privacy, which is exactly what you want on your honeymoon. It was apparent that the staff at Room With a View had worked hard updating their rooms, and that they wanted us to enjoy our stay in Reykjavik! There were a couple of things we might have changed about our stay. Our room overlooked two bars, which meant loud partying until at least two or three in the morning. (I guess if you can't beat 'em, join 'em.) The other issue was with the jacuzzi tub. It was very dirty; almost repulsive. It seemed they didn't monitor the porch area as much as they could have. |

The room was quite big, nice and cosy, the staff friendly and location very central. Our room on the street side was a bit noisy and we woke up because of the party going on in the street on friday and saturday night/morning. |

The location is very central therefore in the heart of all the attractions. It is situated on the main street. The studio rooms are quite different from the apartment rooms displayed by photos on the Booking.com website. See the traveller's photos for an accurate description. Spacious studio with kitchen facilities and nice, large windows with some views of the mountains/rooftops. While we were aware that the hotel was central you cannot underestimate the level of noise from people/night club music on each corner of the hotel. The noise starts at 12 midnights and continues until 7am - people enjoying the runtur every Fri and Sat night. The earplus provided by hotel staff on arrival proved to be very useful. |

Location was right in the heart of town. Extremely noisy on the weekends from party goers. Our room was right next to a bar that has an outdoor patio that didn't close until 4:00 am. |

Loved having a well-designed and decorated apartment fully equipped at our disposal. There was lots of storage and, high speed internet, private (indoor) and public (outdoor) jacuzzi. Perfectly central location, lovely, low-key, but very helpful hosts. |

Hotellet lå super centralt på hovedgaden i Reyjkavik. Dejlig med plads og gode køkken faciliteter. Ideelt hvis man rejser i en gruppe eller familie med børn - da værelser er indrettet som Hotellejligheder. Diskret personale men meget service betonet. Prisen var i top - man får rigtig meget for pengene. Det var lige i underkanten med et enkelt toilet - vi var 5 på vores værelse |

Flot indrettet og meget rummelig hotellejlighed. Rigtig god til familer med 2-4 børn i alle aldre. Placeret meget centralt i Reykjavik. Masser af cafeer, restaurenter og sjove butikker lige ved hotellet. Nogle nætter var der en del støj fra festende mennesker. |

voor mij de ligging en het uitzicht over de oceaan waren perfect.de uitrusting van het appartement was prima.Ligging ten opzichte van het centrum met zijn eetgelegenheden en winkels was erg dichtbij. Gevoel van veiligheid en bereikbaarheid prima. minpuntje dat de jaccuzi in ons geval in de andere vleugel was en we hierover geen info hadden ontvangen. dit was gemakkelijk geweest ivm badjassen. |
