Friendly staff (especially the one at the Bar!!), good location, an hour drive to Reykjavik City and 1.5 hours drive to Vik (Black Sand Beach). We enjoy our stay very much!!!

the staff were very polite and helpful. the resturant served very tasty meals.

there were no tea /coffee making facilities in the room, as we arrived very late from the airport after delays there wasnt even a vending machine to grab a snack but the staff did point us in the right direction

Although the booking was made several days in advance, the room we were given (and all the other available rooms) had the radiator completely shut and therefore it was uncomfortably cold. Nobody was at the reception when we arrived. We rang the bell but still nobody showed up. We had to go to the restaurant and tell the waitress to call the receptionist. When the following morning we asked for the Manager to complain, we were told he was not available.

A well run hotel in an excellent location on the main route. The restaurant has an impressive menu, great service and the food quality is of a very good standard.

The town of Selfoss itself is a little scruffy and lacking in amenities.

Hotel ist wirklich nicht schlecht, auch wenn das Badezimmer an seine Grenzen gestossen ist. Frühstück auch in Ordnung, gegenüber ist ein ganz guter Thailänder. Passt insgesamt.

Also abends ins Bad, plötzlich fiel die komplette Verkledung des Badewannne runter, nachts hat die Toilette den geist aufgegeben, Dauerwasserlauf unstopbar, morgens dann konnte die Dusche nicht gestartet werden, also Baden.... und trotzdem irgendwie symphatisch das ganze.

Mitarbeiter haben ordentlich gearbeitet, Frühstück war für ein Continental Breakfast üppig und gut.

Der Service in der Bar war ein bißchen "schwerfällig", manchmal hatte man das Gefühl, dass die Mitarbeiter keinen Umsatz machen wollten. Ebenso war der Spa-Bereich geschlossen - hierzu gab es aber auch keine Infos an der Rezeption. Schade eigentlich...

L'esterno è sicuramente brutto rispetto al'ambiente interno

Hotellet ligger meget centralt på en rundrejse på Island lige ud til den store vej som fører ud til alle highlights I den sydlige del af Island. Hotellet ligger I skønne omgivelser med direkte udsigt til vandløb der gennemløber byen. Hotellet ligger I nær afstand til byen Stokkeseyri hvor øens bedste hummerrestaurant ligger.

Camera spaziosa, letto comodo, vista eccezionale, colazione abbondante. A pochi passi dai ristoranti e dai negozi del paese e a 10 minuti a piedi dalla fermata del bus.

Zoals ook voor vele andere restaurants in IJsland geldt, is men het gevoel voor een redelijke verhouding tussen kwaliteit en prijs een beetje kwijt. Een hoofdgerecht voor 2 personen met een licht biertje (2,25%) en een glaasje limonade kostte in dit hotel al bijna 80 euro. Vindt men misschien dat de chique ambiance die prijs rechtvaardigt?
