The Location was perfect, the breakfast was good value, the rooms were comfortable. Free internet but only one cable per room e.g only one computer/laptop at a time. As per a lot of the reviews the hotel is great Sunday to Thursday but Friday and Saturday nights suck if you want to sleep cause the main street is below and its noisey. |

The staff at the hotel was courteous and very helpful. They provided excellent recommendations on restaurants and activities. The hotel's location is also a major plus as it is smack in the middle of the city and close to restaurants, nightlife and activity centers. Also, complaints about noise on the weekend seemed to be overstated. |

Internet in the room The room are so tiny that you can hardly find a place to open a suitcase. The hotel didn't have a room with a double bed for us in the first night. The room is overpriced !!! they charge way too much for such small rooms. Our room was on the forth floor, and still it was very noisy, and we couldn't sleep !!! Avoid this hotel. |

Almost new. Typical scandinavian design. Relatively close to the center. Well connected to the tourist network (restaurants, city tour, etc.). Very large bed. Should have been built with better soundproof standards. |

Location. Good adequate breakfast daily. Free internet. Rooms were a bit small for 2 adults but adequate. Would be nice to have CNN or english speaking channels. |

Location, location! During the week, reasonably quiet, we did not stay during weekend. Good reasonable rooms, early breakfast available, friendly service. We chose not to stay here over weedend because of expected noise. |

Pleasant personnel, comfortable room, breakfast buffet was very nice, quiet (if the window was shut late evening!) and happy to have the elevator. Steps going into hotel had no hand-rail and too many steps to reservation desk for my husband, who is somewhat handicapped. Elevator right from ground floor would have been appreciated. |

Perfectly situated in the centre of Reykjavik's main shopping street. Clean and comfortable. Small rooms, with a lot of noise from revellers in the street outside until 5 am at weekends. Not good for light sleepers. 3* rather than 4* |

We liked that the breakfast room stayed open during the day so one could grab a cup of tee and relax. We also found the reception staff to be exceptionally helpful and friendly. From the pictures posted on the website we expected the hotel to be more modern and comfortable. The beds were not firm and the bathroom was small. |

Located in the center, convenient, friendly recepcionists, nice restaurants and shops in the street. The hotel is fine but bring ear-plugs if planning to stay during a weekend: the street is noisy during Friday and Saturday nights. |
