Location - Arnastapi and the Snaefellness peninsula are gorgeous. The staff were really friendly and helpful (only rated good, as the girl who had started the morning arrived got things a little bit wrong, but that was her inexperience, which was quickly resolved) My single room was tiny, and the pricing seemed very expensive compared to elsewhere in Iceland. |

The surrounding area is beautiful. Too bad about the lousy accommodation. Very expensive for what you get. The room was like a youth hostel, but the price was not! The furniture was bottom of the range Ikea. Half the lights in the room were not working, the beds were basic and uncomfortable. The sheets were transparent. Very noisy!! The shower rooms were not very nice with broken light fittings and there was only two showers for over 20 people! The picture for this place is misleading as the nice looking houses that you see are the very overpriced restaurant/reception and not the accommodation, which is very basic. The food was extremely overpriced. The lamb chops were 80% fat. This was by far the worst place of our stay in Iceland. Would not recommend to anybody. |

Location next to cliffs Heating was very high; rooms were tiny; could not join beds together; small room; staff seemed rather cold; restaurant overpriced and stuffy, so we at at another hotel nearby, excellent food and service. |

The location of Snjofell is amazing. The food was very tasty, local and fresh. The breakfast buffet had everything we liked. Snjofell's restaurant is housed in a beautiful old turf house. |

Dans l'ensemble nous avons bien apprécié nos deux nuits à la Guesthouse Snofell, l'accueil fut très sympathique, les chambres impécables et les petits déjeuners excellents. Le seul bémol réside dans le fait qu'il n'y avait qu'un seul sanitaire (wc avec douche) à partager pour 5 chambres. |

El entorno. Realmente espectacular. Sí. Bastantes cosas. Muy caro para lo que ofrecía y el personal muy frío, llegando a ser impertinentes incluso. El desayuno tenía un precio demasiado alto cuando el hotel pretigioso Hotel Budir, apenas a 15km, lo ofrecía más barato y suculento. |

Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis nicht angemessen, Nur eine Toilette und eine Dusche in unserem Guesth. vorhanden. Frühstück verhältnismäßig teurer und einseitiger als bei vergleichbaren Guesth. Teilweise unfreundliches Personal im Restaurant/Reception. Guesth. profitiert nur von seiner Lage und nicht vorhandenen Alternativmöglichkeiten. |

Le site est magnifique La photo internet est trompeuse. Elle suggere qu'on va loger dans une petite maison traditionnelle, mais ce n'est que le restaurant et on loge dans une autre maison voisine...et moderne. |

-Liegt nah am Meer, guter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen, Sehr excellentes Frühstück, das für uns die unten aufgeführten Nachteile schon fast wieder aufgewogen hat. Gasthaus entspricht nicht dem Foto, aufgrunddessen ich es gebucht habe. Das Foto ist lediglich das Restaurant! - keine Schränke, Haken, Ablageflächen, Wasserkocher. Zwei Stühle für drei Personen eine Toilette+Dusche für alle (!) Bewohner, entgegen der hauseigenen Beschreibung existiert keine Etagenküche O.ä., da offensichtlich in min. Einem der Zimmer nicht einmal ein Waschbecken zur Verfügung stand, mussten jene Bewohner sich im Waschraum die Zähne putzen, währenddessen man auch nicht auf Toilette gehen konnte, schlechte Belüftung. Durch nur wenige Verbesserungen könnte dieses Gasthaus um so viel besser werden! |

les maisons du restaurant qui sont sur les photos une salle de bain avec le WC non séparé, pour toutes les chambres. L'hôtel est aussi moche que le resto est joli. C'est très cher pour la qualité du gite avec vu sur le camping. |

El colchón era cómodo. No hay derecho a cocina. No habia W.C. en la habitación, sólo uno general, compartido con ducha, para todos los clientes (esto es muy incómodo por la mañana). En la recepción parecíamos transparentes: no nos atendían enseguida. Hemos estado en otros guesthouse en islandia con mejores prestaciones y a mitad del precio de Guesthouse Snjofell. Nosotros lo contratamos como hotel y al final ha sido una guesthouse. |

El paisaje alrededor del hotel es increible, y el sitio muy bueno para visitar el oeste de la peninsula de Snaefellness un must-see en Islandia. Las habitaciones son sencillas pero "eficaces". La acogida de la propietaria al limite de la simpatia. Despues, el trato fue a cargo de su ayudante que es un encanto. Por otra parte, un wc-ducha junto para 10 habitaciones es un poco limite, pero bueno... |

top Lage, nette Mitarbeiter, sauber Dass es keine Möglichkeit gab, sich selbst zu verpflegen. Dass wir im Zimmer nichts hatten (Schränke), nicht einmal genug Stühle/Haken, um Sachen aufzuhängen bzw. abzulegen. Die Fenster waren nicht zu öffnen. Ledglich die Oberlichter konnten angekippt werden. Zu viert in dem Zimmer wurde die Luft sehr schlecht - & über nacht möchte man ungern die Tür zum Lüften offen stehen lassen. Die Schwalben waren ungemein aggressiv. Kaum haben wir das Haus verlassen, wurden wir auch schon angegriffen. Wäre schön, darüber vorab zu informieren & evtl. Verhaltenstipps an jene zu senden, die mit Ornithologie nicht viel am Hut haben. Hin & wieder war kein warmes Wasser da. |

Von vorne aussen nett anzusehendes Häuschen 1) Wartezeit von 20min bei Ankunft trotz 14täg. Vorausbuchung: Um 20:15 Uhr standen die Zimmer nicht bereit - 2) Einziges "Guesthouse" unserer Islandrundreise OHNE Küche OHNE Aufenthaltsraum 3) Boden schmutzig (klebriger Schmutz neben Mülleimer, getrocknete Bluttropfen auf Fußboden) 4) Im Hotel Snjofell (Zugleich Rezeption für Guesthouse Snjofell) sind nach 20:00 keine warmen Speisen erhältlich... |
