Counter staff was not very informative on surrounding attractions. Bread at breakfast was MOULDY.
View from the room. Cosy room. Good breakfast and restaurant.
we could hear the noise of the elevator near our room. The ventilation system in the bathroom is noisy. In 2 nights stay our room had not been clean.
Struggled to find a good WiFi connection
Very Cold Too expensive
pets (dogs) not allowed! on booking.com marked as allowed!
nice room, beautiful view, excellent breakfast, excellent restaurant
Hotel is very near to supermarket and is easy to locate. Good location to spot the Northen lights.
No kettle in the room for us to boil hot water for coffee/tea.
Clean modern hotel in a good location to explore the peninsular. Clean and tidy with friendly staff
May be the best option in area. Helpful staff. OK breakfast.
Pillows. Tiny rooms in original wing. Shower water spilled all over bathroom.
View from room, bed.
Excellent breakfast, modern building, spacious room.
Impersonal feel, due for some maintenance, felt more oriented to coach parties than to individual travellers.
We had a car issue and the staff lent us a phone to contact our rental company; also gave directions to sights - couldn't have been more pleasant. Our room was a nice size, had a wonderful view of the church and harbor, and we had several available channels on the TV. The food in the restaurant was very good.
Service was good and not intrusive. Staff were friendly and hotel well situated for visiting the area. Food good
Exterior of the hotel being grey was not initially very welcoming and could do with a tidy up around steps up into reception
Front desk girls were very polite and helpful in getting us another room in the facility. Easy launch point for catching the ferry in the morning to the Western Fjords.
Hotel looks beat but it was the only one available in the busy summer. Our original room (which was keyed 3 times until the staff got the cards to work) on the second floor looked like it was updated but it was a very small stuffy box. We finally got moved to a bigger room in the older section of the hotel with a window that opened. Beds/pillows weren't comfortable. Breakfast was ok. Ate at the local restaurants for lunch/dinner and both were great.
Nice room, small, but good for a one night stay. Had a great view of the church. Staff friendly, gave suggestions when asked. Easy check-in and out. Town is walkable, had a great pizza??? at a place next to the supermarket.
Iceland is expensive! But they have to make a living too.
Everything was great
Wi-fi signal was not strong enough in the room
Position of hotel just lovely - views from bedroom and hotel dining room could not be bettered. Also dinner and breakfast v good
The bed is too soft and the pillow is too thin.
Located next to the Stykkisholmskirja (unique looking church). The reception stay were friendly and helpful.
A little way from the tour activities on the waterfront and the restaurants. Bland looking hotel with no real character.
Lovely room with good views and massive spa bath so a bit of fun
Strange dimmer lights that were a pain to operate Bed of rock to sleep on despite a very luxurious room
Good location and generous breakfast buffet. Pleasant desk staff when there.
Bathroom/shower too small and in need of update. Low staffing at desk and common areas. No doorman or luggage carts. Common areas need decor update
There is no black out shades in the room give that the sun is up until 12:00 midnight. There is no Internet connection.
Sounds of the lift all night!
Clean, modern, quiet, with efficient and friendly reception.
