great location - very comfortable - lovely lounge area - clean rooms - great breakfast selection - relaxing atmosphere - friendly and informative staff waited at reception for 10 minutes to check-in after ringing bell on desk many times. Eventually had to phone the hotel number to get someone to come to check us in.

The location is absolutely beautiful and the view from the patio outside our room was awesome. The room was nicely furnished and immaculate as were the common areas in the lobby to just enjoy the fire in the evenings. The breakfast was very good and we enjoyed a really nice display of the Northern Lights outside our window and over the fjord the second evening we were there. We were the only travelers at the hotel the first night we were there and our room was not freshened up the next day (bed made up, etc.) while we were out. I don't know if this is the norm or if it was just overlooked that day.

The blond lady who was at the desk went out of her way to help us. She helped book a last-minute fishing guide for my husband and even made sandwiches for him since he would miss breakfast that morning. She also let me return and hang out in the lobby while I waited for my husband's return and offered me coffee/cocoa. The view from our room (with a little deck) was super. The breakfast had scrambled eggs and bacon in addition to the usual fare. Room just a bit small, but that seems to be normal in iceland (and also italy)

Very nicely decorated and spacious hotel, pleasant and helpfull staff and owners, functional wifi, nice and peacefull countryside near Akureyri and fantastic views around, good position near main road.

The hotel is perfect!don't even think about it! Ask for a room with a view to the gulf and mountains!the staff was very discreet friendly and kind!!You are so close magnificent city of Akurery and the awesome lake Myvatan!in addition the perfect fishvillage (whale watching) is just 1 hour road!Don't miss the breathless sunset from Akurery!!!

The location is quite nice and has a great view. The hotel looks nice inside and breakfast was ok The shower was very small and sometimes got suddenly very hot. Also the beds were too soft and the tv had only a couple of channels and was hardly visible from the bed. This place is a bit too expensive for what you get.

La chambre était très propre et confortable. L'environnement est très calme, à quelques kilomètres seulement d'Akureyri. Petit-déjeuner buffet bien fourni.

Bel hôtel familial, à moins de 10 minutes d'une des principales villes du nord de l'île, Akureyri. Confortable, au calme et belle vue sur le fjord. Le personnel est sympathique et le buffet de petit déjeuner complet et varié. Compter environ 1 heure de voiture pour gagner Husavik (et sa balade en bateau à la recherche des baleines) ou le lac de Myvatn et ses multiples et merveilleux sites. Pas grand chose à reprocher si ce n'est une famille qui a occupé pendant 2 nuits 2 chambres contigües avec 2 jeunes enfants... Beaucoup de bruit dans les couloirs... Mais ça, on ne peut pas prévoir !

Vriendelijk personeel en nette kamers. Het hotel lag verder weg van de stad dan van te voren ingeschat en was lastig te vinden doordat het bord was gesloopt.

El entorno es muy bonito, en mitad del fiordo con buenas vistas desde la parte frontal. También nos gustó el estilo rústico de la decoración. La habitación es básica pero las camas son muy cómodas. El agua caliente tarda más de 5 minutos en salir, cosa que solo descubrimos tras vestirnos e ir a recepción a preguntar. Pese a estar solos en el hotel, nos dieron una habitación en la parte trasera, sin vistas al fiordo, posiblemente pq las otras habitaciones estaban sin hacer.

Отличная гостиница. Очень красивый холл с камином, хорошие номера. Единственный минус - расположение: до Акюрейри 15 километров, при езде по дороге нужно внимательно смотреть на указатели, чтобы не пропустить. Но это же и плюс - уединённость, из окна отличный вид на горы и фьорд.
