Very helpful and friendly staff. Facilities were good. Great value for money.
Easy to find. Right on the main street.
It was very nice guesthouse on our way. We asked a room with view on kirkmountain and we got it! Our room looked very stylish - nice modern furniture, smell of wood. Room was not big but it's not a porblem for us (but the bed was very big :)). Kitchen equiped with everything that you can need to cook any dish. And you can have your morning cup of coffee with view on Kirkjufell :) Food supermarket is 3 min by walk. Strongly reccomend this place to stay!
Wonderful hosts, large kitchen with everything. Easy parking, close to the magical Kirkjufell Mountain. Stayed here many times and wouldn't stay anywhere else.
Everything, except we had no WiFi, due to weather conditions.
Nothing. Everything was perfect.
We only spend a night in this lovely town but even though it is a very small town it is located right next to the mountains and the famous Kirkjufell mount, which is really beautiful. The staff was very helpful and gave us a lot of tips about the places where we could go in the peninsula. We could use the kitchen that had all the things we needed to prepare our dinner and breakfast.
Great view! Good kitchen! Very comrortable room! Clean bathroom!
Room was next to bathroom so it was a little bit noisy
Nice view from rooms. Shared kitchen, warming welcome from our Host, helping the trip organization.
The location was concenirnt, the room really clean and the staff throughful
Beautiful place, friendly staff
Having to pay extra for linen
Top location! Friendly witty staff keen to share 'their Iceland'.
Breakfast not included (though cooking facilities were available for guests to use)
Excellent location, views, kitchen facilitirs and friendly, helpful staff
friendly and helpful staff, good facilities, clean
a bit noisy
The guesthouse is very nice and comfortable, everything was new or almost new and well kept!
A little bit expensive compared to other places around.
Ideal location - both views, very close distance to most beautiful landscapes of Snefells Peninsula. Friendly owner, easy to contact any time. Cost/place/convenience value is high.
Prices on Iceland are high, Post Office is really OK, but still not comparable to what is common in other even expensive countries.
the room and the bathroom are very clean.the staff very gentle. absolutely recommendable
Rooms were big and comfortable. Plenty of bathrooms and showers. Kitchen was clean and big.
Town did not have much to do and places to eat were limited and expensive.
the best few i´ve ever seen. very friendly and helpful. very clean. thanks for everything!!!!!
one bathroom shared by too many rooms
Lovely host in a beautiful setting with large windows to view the long sunsets and nearby mountain. Super clean and quiet
Clean, sink in the room
There was just one bathroom for six bedrooms in the second floor, so you often had to wait. There was an other bathroom two floors away - but also this one was often busy since there were other rooms on that flor too
Everything! After 18 days travelling iceland, we just can say it's been the best place! And the man at the reception has been very helpful and enthusiastic!! Just great!!!
Easy to find in the centre of town and good views from kitchen which is well equipped and comfortable.
- lady at the reception was very friendly and gave us some useful information about what to see and visit around Grundafjördur - good equipped (even dishwasher) and clean kitchen - nice and quiet room
