Price for 2 nights are quite cheap and staff are quite helpful

Wifi did not work in the cabin for the whole stay. Wifi only in reception, which closes quite early (9 pm) and opens quite late (9 am). In the second morning, wifi at reception didn't work too.

Spacious enough, hot tub, all required amenities, privacy, close to some of the attractions.

Hot water is geothermal and stinks of sulphur, equippment could be of better quality/newer/cleaner.

    Friendly staff

Hot tube that was promised proved to be empty and very dirty. And there wasn`t the description how to use it. And of course lack of wi-fi in the cottage is a big defect.

Very spacious accommodation with a high standard of furnishings. Hot tub was lovely.

Not enough instructions for kitchen appliances and the hot tub. Reception and cabin not clearly signed.

Location is very hear to Geysir and surrounded by beautiful landscapes. Cottage was basis, but very nice and complete. Staff very friendly and big hall to eat, talk and relax

Hot water is natural in Iceland, straight from the source. Takes a while to get it hot from the tab. Some would call the sulphur smell of the hot water authentic and it surely is not too bad for a few days, but it really stinks :-)

Nice location, very warm and comfortable cottage. We got free upgrade as we were 4 and the bigger cottage was available. Nice hot tube (private in the cottage), very good kitchen with all necessary staff. there is petrol station very close to the reception (in Iceland it is difficul to find them sometimes)

there was no internet (the only inconvenience we face)

Nice cottage, enough space, the hot tob is really nice, privacy, kitchen tools, clean, floor heating, cosy cottage!

Hard to find. The gps coordinates took us to icy roads. There is no internet inside the cottage, only at the restaurant. You can't use the tv and stereo without purchasing a tv-card.

The cabin was cozy and warm, made of wood, and had homemade touches like country style curtains and Christmas lights. The farmers that ran it were friendly and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. Best of all, the enclosed personal hot tub made it unbelievable! We enjoyed the peace and quiet and were able to cook for ourselves.

It was easy to find yet still made you feel like you were I the middle of nowhere. There probably would have been lovely views of the northern lights if they had been out.

The cottage was very spacious and comfortable. It was quite close to the geysers, Gullfoss waterfall and Thingvellir national park, and a couple of hours' drive from 'the volcano', also a glacier which we walked on. We were not fortunate enough to see the northern lights on our trip but the living room's see-through roof would have helped if they had been "switched on" :) The hot tub was a great addition. The Wi-Fi didn't reach as far as our cottage, but it was a strong signal in reception and in the bar / restaurant.

No hairdryer or washing machine. There were TVs in each bedroom but they could only pick up one channel. The bar/restaurant was not open much but it was end-of-season (mid October).

Warning! The place is (anymore) not what you see in the description ... only the high price corrispond. To be honest they should pay the money back.

Bed was comfortable. Being so close to Geysir and Gullfoss was good.

On arrival we checked in at the "bar" area (more like a deserted school hall) and went straight to our cottage. The hot tub on the veranda was empty and resembled an old bath tub - there were no instructions how to work this - not that we wanted to as it was filthy. Inside, the tv was circa 1980 and was held in place on a stand on the wall by some rope as the bathroom door didn't close properly and always opened backwards bashing into the tv. The sofa was (we think) originally pink but had taken on a new grey colour along with some suspicious looking brown blobs. When we tried to go out on the first night the door to the cottage would not lock. We reported this at the "bar" where a very rude member of staff suggested that we were being stupid and "someone would look at some point". They never did. We eventually managed to get the door to lock so we could go out but then couldn't lock it on our return from the inside so had to spend the night with an unlocked front door. When we asked about restaurants that were nearby the woman at check in was very unhelpful and seemed angry that we wouldn't want to eat in the "restaurant" onsite. They do not have a restaurant. It is basically a burger bar. By far the worst hotel we stayed in on our trip around Iceland so much so that we actually phoned other accomodation nearby to ask if they had vacancies so we could move. Awful.
