The restaurant at the hotel is fabulous. A very young chef (born 1996 ! )makes magic in the kitchen ! Well worth a visit to taste his food. The only other really good thing about the hotel is its location.

Good breakfast. Quiet plc.has a catwash area at the carpark area.
Sulphur smell water but I guess hotels in that area could be the same.

The hotel is in a very good point. The room was excellent, big, clean and quiet. The stuff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel's restaurant offers food in a top quality.
The hot water in the bathroom had the awful smell like the geothermal areas, which for me was very annoying, because its smell lasted for hours. It is a pity that a hotel of this very good level, offers to the travellers who really need bathing such a water.
Ok room, but i'd recommend only staying here if you are arriving late and leaving early. Perfect if you are just passing through but the location is not so great for exploring the "hotspots" of iceland. But nothing negative to say about the hotel and staff.
The restaurant was excellent. The chef and staff went to a lot of trouble to make sure we enjoyed our evening meal They couldn't have done more for us. Excellent service, very impressed!
Basic, clean rooms and friendly staff
Wifi barely worked at all, restaurant severely over priced ($30 for 3 pieces of cauliflower which was meant to be a main course!), paper thin walls. Overpriced hotel, I've stayed in much better places in iceland for much less, however this hotel can charge what they want as they have the monopoly being the only place to stay in town.
The restaurant at the hotel is fabulous. A very young chef (born 1996 ! )makes magic in the kitchen ! Well worth a visit to taste his food. The only other really good thing about the hotel is its location.
Way to exspencive for this basic hotel.
Nature
To expensive restaurant and we need to eat afterwards.
the restaurant the free ticket for the swimming pool
Location near the ringroad is perfect for a one night stop and to continue the trip.
Fair comfort. Lack of variety of food at breakfast. Poor bathroom.
clean, polite and very friendly staff , excellent breakfast. top notch hotel.
good dinner and wide choice for breakfast, very easy to find
pity that hot water smells a bit of sulphur
Really good restaurant on site Hotel feeling but a good place to stay
Nothing
Location very accessible as ring road stop.
We were off season, so although the restaurant provided a meal there was no choice.
This hotel is located right by the route 1 to the north and there is a petrol station with food available next door. A good hotel to stop off at on route on the ring road self drive.
Good value for money, good breakfast, nice staff. This is a real hotel, unlike many of the guesthouses nearby. I like the free access to the nearby outdoor thermal pool. The price was quite reasonable but this was probably due to the fact that we were there in the low season.
No good food options in the immediate vicinity...at least in the low season.
Manager pleasant and helpful. Room clean and spacious. Food wonderful.
Nothing.
