Located in the quaint peaceful village of Vogar on the Reykjanes Peninsula, the Hotel Vogar offers spectacular views of Mt. Keilir, a cone-shaped volcano 1,243 ft high. The small town of Vogar is in the south west region of Iceland and is conveniently located just a 14 minute drive from Keflavík International Airport. Double insulated walls and specially fitted curtains that reduce the admission of light ensure a good night’s sleep, even during the very bright summer nights. The amazing Blue Lagoon is just a 12 minute drive away and Hotel Vogar is just 25 minutes from Reykjavík. The area provides numerous paths that wind around the coast and pass through lava fields. Vogar is well known for its rich and abundant bird life. Hotel Vogar is only a 4 minute walk from an inviting heated outdoor swimming pool and hot tub. Friendly service, comfortable room, peaceful location, relatively close to the airport at Keflavik. Not much negative about the hotel, but you have to be aware that you need a car or taxi to go to Vogar.

Appartement pour une famille agréable et pratique. Localisation intéressante, proche du Blue Lagoon, de l'aéroport, de Reykjavik dans un cadre agréable. Calme et propore. Petit déjeuner buffet bon, copieux. Certains matelas peu confortables.

Les couchés du soleil sur la route 420 ou près de l'océan, la situation géographique de l'hotel (à mi chemin entre l'aéroport et la capitale et près de Blue Lagoon). Le personnel de l'hotel était très sympathique. Le calme de la ville. Le paysage autour était très beau. Les gens doivent absolument louer une voiture s'ils souhaitent y rester.

Si tratta di un tipico Motel stile americano. Molto comoda la possibilità di parcheggiare l'auto davanti alla camera. Gestione ottima e colazione davvero eccezionale. Ottima posizione per l'areoporto, per le visita a Reykjiavik e per la Laguna Blu. WiFi free con buon segnale anche in camera. Abbiamo avuto una camera con bagno privato, pur avendo pronotato quella con servizi in comune. Raccomandato.

Nette kamers, goed gelegen bij de luchthaven en toch niet in de stad Reykjavik.Vriendelijke hotelbaas. Ontbijtruimte was niet zo gezellig.

Großes Motelzimmer, zwei deutsche Fernsehsender, sehr gutes Frühstück im Preis eingeschlossen, gegenüber anderen Hotels weiter weg von Reykjavik günstiges Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

Nos hospedamos en este hotel para coger el avión el dia siguiente en Keflavik. El manager es super amable y atento. La habitación espaciosa, amplia y con cortinas!!El pueblo no tiene nada especial pero esta muy cerca de Keflavik.

Quiet and close (12 mn) to Keflavik airport Very friendly and helpful staff We could not stay for breakfast and they offered to make a sandwich the night before, as breakfast was included.

L'appartement était très bien pour une famille, avec chambres séparées. La saison est plutôt calme, et malgré cela, l'accueil était excellent, le petit déjeuner parfait. La situation de l'hôtel est idéale à l'arrivée en Islande et le Blue Lagoon est à 2 pas. Il y a même un petit restaurant sans prétention juste en face de l'hotel qui pratique des tarifs très très démocratique.

Hotel Vogar is 15 min drive to airport in a very small town with only restaurant. It is an alternative to staying in Keflavik --much quieter and almost as close to airport. It had small rooms, motel-style, but clean and with great black-out drapes for a good night's sleep. Breakfast was very good with more variety than more expensive hotels we stayed at in Iceland. About ten minutes to Blue Lagoon.Is expensive by North American standards, but seems to be the norm in Iceland.
