I liked the flexibility and kindness of the host. The room was nice and for that price with own bathroom in Florence, this is outstanding! You should enjoy Florence with staying in that place!
Friendly staff and service. Grazie. :) Supermarket, bus-stop (6, 13), bancomat and few restaurants and cafes are very close at B&B. Our room's balcony inside yard view was nice. Breakfast was typical italian style with coffee/tea, juice, different fruits, croissants and other sweats pastery, cheese spreads, jugurts, marmelades, tomatoes and corn flakes. Selfservice coffee all the time. There was also refrigerator for visitors.
Too small shower space.
Everything!! Breakfast, room, welcome, decor. A real little gem at a reasonable price!!
Distance wasn't bad but if walking bear in mind that you're talking 20 to 30 mins to the historical centre each day. This is fine but after walking all round Florence, can be tiring. We tended to just stay out all day rather than going back in evening!!
1. Very courteous and nice owner and staff. 2. Location was not too close to the "turistic" part of Firenze. 3. Several nice restaurants close-by. 4. A large supermarket located a stone-throw away.
1. Wifi was somewhat erratic. 2. B&B is located on the 3rd floor at top of a long flight of steps, which could be challenging for those with a lot of luggage, but not a problem if you're in great shape and ready for some exercise!
Had everything we needed. We walked downtown and took the bus back after tons of sight seeing. Leonardo recommended some great restaurants. Thanks for a lovely stay.
The owner (Stefano) was very helpful and friendly The quality of stay and sleep was quite good for a B&B The place that the B&B is situated: its not at the center (20 min walking distance), but you can also take the bus (5) and it is a safe and not noisy area
The quality of brekfast could be better: it would be more apreciated if there was some traditional products of Toscany instead of standarized products. The price: you cannot evaluate it as 'value for money' but in order to be fair evrything in Florence is expensive (of course that doesn't mean that this is right)
Everything was excellent, friendly staff, great breakfast, good location
1. Hosts: helpful, considerate, and hard-working, professional 2. Room: clean, good wifi, eco-friendly 3. Nice ambience of the B&B throughout
It can be noisy due to other guests to the B&B late at night.
Very nice owners who had a lot of tips for visiting Firenze We had a nice quiet room facing the backyard of the house with a small balcony
B&B is a bit out of the center, but good for parking. Firenze is very crowded by tourists, but that has nothing to do with the B&B
The owners are lovely and very helpful. Breakfast is decent and they are always happy to provide anything you need. Location is good, 15 minute walk into town. Very clean and enjoyable stay
- located on the quieter side of the Arno (away from the touristy crowds) - still plenty of restaurants/gelaterias around - the Boni brothers are very helpful with information and pleasant to deal with
- breakfast is good but quite simple
All of the above plus the kindness helpfulness and efficiency of the owners
The size of the room, the friendliness of the staff, and the location.
Friendliness, hospitality and helpfulness of Leonardo and Stefano, the owners. Spotless, spacious room with a comfortable bed and a balcony you could sit out on. The non-touristy location on the edge of the San Frediano area in Oltrarno, just a 15-minute walk from the centre and Ponte Vecchio. The choice of places to eat/drink coffee/have a beer locally in San Frediano and Santa Spirito. Good breakfast provided at the B&B and the means to make yourself a cup of coffee or tea at any time of the day.
The lack of variety in breakfast (same every day); also too many sweet things. At least included yoghurt and fresh fruit every day, so that's what I ate. No elevator - approximately 30 steps to the B&B (don't pack the kitchen sink1), but one of the brothers met me on the day of arrival and carried my suitcase upstairs for me; likewise when I was leaving, it was carried down.
Loved the staff! A wonderful, kind, helpful duo.
THe brothers running the B & B are very friendly and helpful. We could also leave our luggage there after check out to collect later.
Would have liked fresh towels every day as they didn't dry properly.
The location , it was right next to the bus stop. The decor was tasteful and the rooms were very clean and well maintained. The provision of self service hot tea and coffee 24 hours was a definite plus for me .
The bed was very small and narrow ....not standard size . Seemed more like a child's bed.
