4 Viale Masini Design Hotel

Location is very noisy - one side of the hotel is on the very noisy street (nearby the railway station) and you will not sleep at night even with closed windows. Beeing relocated to the other room on the other side of the building we got a room facing the inner court with ventilation system which is also very noisy, but you can sleep with some efforts.

Location is 2 minute walk from main railway station so perfect for daytrips to Venice/Verona etc.(the airport bus stop is outside this station) 10 minute walk down main shopping street (Via Dell' Independza) to historical centre. The hotel interior is light, spacious and welcoming. Staff spoke excellent English. Room was very clean and bed comfortable, shower excellent. The water and soft drinks in the minibar were included in the price.

There was very little wardrobe space for a double room (if staying longer than a few days) There was an issue with noise from water dripping outside the window onto the external windowsill which i have contacted the hotel about but not yet received a reply. Hopefully this will be fixed as the noise was terrible.

Very modern and clean. Helpful staff. Buffet breakfast was good. Beds very comfortable and even though the hotel was on a busy road the soundproofing was good and had good nights' sleep. Not the best location in Bologna but only 5 minutes walk to the start of the shopping area. No complaints. A great hotel to use when visiting the lovely city of Bologna. Some comments have said the rooms were noisy. I'm a light sleeper and had absolutely no issues.

Nothing to complain about. Would definitely return to this hotel. I cannot understand some of the comments on the booking.com site saying it's 30 mins walk from town. What did they do - go in the wrong direction??

Very noisy street even in the evening, the windows have to be changed. I reserved a superior room for two and when I got there they showed me a small room. So I asked the laguage boy to clarify and he immediatly told me that this is a classic room so he called the reception.when he closed with them he told me I don t know go down to the reception. I asked him to show me a classic room and it was similar to the supperior room. I went down to the reception and they kept telling me that the supperior is bigger althoug it is the same. When I told her what the luggage boy said she told me he s new here and he doesn t know. She and her collegues kept lying . when I told her to give a classic room cause it s the same none were available

This hotel was an oasis in a rather unpleasant city. It was everything that the city wasn't - clean, comfortable, elegant.

As an architect I loved the modern open plan design. Hotel's internet was available.very central.

We booked and came back for our sauna at our alloted time but unfortunately it was not working!

i stayed in a single room which was very very small, apart from that it was very clean and comfortable

Proximity to the city. Nice, clean hotel with modern facilities. Good value for money.

The staff on front desk were very helpful and friendly, breakfast was great, hotel was decorated of a high standard. Everything was new and clean.
