In the historic center Monterosso al Mare, this small hotel offers a rooftop garden overlooking the Ligurian Sea. Its bright, air conditioned rooms include a 26" LCD TV and private bathroom.
Score from 373 reviews Very good
This seafront hotel is in the heart of Monterosso in Cinque Terre, only 325 ft from the train station. It has basic rooms with air conditioning and TV.
Score from 403 reviews Good
Just 100 yards from Fegina Beach, Hotel Villa Adriana is set among palm trees. It offers a Ligurian restaurant, a pool, and classically furnished rooms with an LCD TV.
Score from 639 reviews Excellent
Offering panoramic views of the Cinque Terre coastline, Albergo Suisse runs a free scheduled shuttle service to Monterosso, half a mile away. All air-conditioned rooms come equipped with satellite TV....
Score from 268 reviews Very good
The hotel is quite noisy and not much soundproofing between rooms.
Very friendly staff, good location and car parking.
No view of the sea from our 1st floor room...not really a big deal since we didn't spend a lot of time there.
The accommodations were very comfortable and staff were amazing. It really felt a bit more like a 4-star than a 3-star.
Great spot to stay
No Wifi in the room, only in lobby.
I liked the hotel location.
Breakfast is good, clean and location
We asked for an ocean view, upper level room and got a 2nd floor right on the courtyard which was quite noisy when people were sitting the courtyard. But it didn't detract from our stay!
Hotel was off the Main Street so quieter location, yet close to restaurants, etc.
Wifi not in room, only in foyer lounge area. There was often a strong smell of cigarettes in foyer lounge area, which as non smokers made it difficult to stay in that area.
5 minute walk to the coast/beach,plenty of restaurants Staff were very helpful. Room was a good size
Back room very close to train line and smaller.
Not too steep 10 mins walk from station with cases. Friendly and helpful staff Good breakfasts with room we could use for afternoon coffee too Tiny balcony for evening drinks Minimal but adequate space in room and bathroom. Fridge
breakfast no fresh fruit and same choice everyday.
Location Staff Room
Hotel very clean ,friendly staff and very good location
Extremely basic Uncomfortable beds No fridge in room For 150 euro per night was not up to standard
Family run and very friendly and helpful.
Wi-Fi only in lobby or patio Staff took some time to warm up
Clean and comfortable rooms A/C Location Good accommodations for those hoping for a bit more modern accommodations Nice free breakfast offering
WiFi was only available in a small area in the lobby. Would have preferred it in the room. The bathroom was rather cramped, with a toilet too close to the small shower stall.
Very nice, comfortable place to stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was of good quality and varied.
The location was great. It was close to the train station yet quiet. The breakfast was great.
Staff, hotel and location were fantastic. Very accommodating!
It was a very nice hotel. It was clean & comfortable. It's close to the beach. Best part is that it has parking included. If you're coming by car you'll know that parking is very expensive so this is an added bonus. I also recommend staying in Monterosso. It might not be the prettiest of the 5 towns but has the best feautres. There's an actual beach (rather than a cement dock) and boardwalk which makes it very lively & charming to stroll by. You can have dinner by the beach. I highly recommend Hotel 5 Terre.
Nothing really to complain about.
We found that the staff were very welcoming from the word go. Nothing was too much trouble. We felt like we were part of a family. The hotel is not in the centre of Monterosso but that was not a problem as we enjoyed promenading along the beachfront to get to the main part of town. It was a great vase for the Cinque Terre for us. We stayed 3 nights but in hindsight wish we bad stayed at least 4 nights. We enjoyed going to the nearby beach a couple of times. The restaurants in Monterosso were very good. The room in the hotel was not overly big but when you are out and about most of the time it does not matter. The breakfast offered a good selection of food. Outside there were tables, chairs and umbrellas to sit at to use the wifi. We could not get wifi in the room but it was fine in the lobby and in the downstairs ares.
Toilet was located in such a position up against the shower wall that it was very difficult to fit into the space and both of us are fit individuals. Toilet water would start running at night and wake us up. No WiFi in room, only in common areas. No AC in common area.
Breakfast, breakfast dining area, common area, outdoor sitting area, AC in room, size of shower
Really small rooms
Loved the quirky and helpful staff! Generous breakfast Great location Quiet street Clean
Staff command of English was not dtrong
The location is fantastic. Our room was perfect for us & we had a view of the sea. The staff were lovely & very helpful.
Wifi didn't work in room. We booked a room with air conditioning but only had a ceiling fan. Ok, because it was cooler then normal. No fridge.
Good breakfast. Staff helpful. On site parking. Excellent for Cinque Terre. Room clean and spacious
Room not air-conditioned, so hot at night in summer, but window could be opened wide and screened. A little noise from other guests outside in late evening. Some noise early in the morning with service vehicles in the street. Mostly, however, a quiet side street, not too busy.
Probably the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in. Very well run by friendly, helpful manager and staff. Easy walk to and from the station.
Wifi availability limited to ground floor common room. It was a bit pricey.
Very easy to find by foot. Location to train station. Proximity to the beaches. Proximity to restaurants/cafes. Breakfast
