Villa I Barronci is a charming Tuscan-style residence with private park and pool. It provides stunning views of the Chianti countryside, a 20-minute drive from Florence.
Score from 487 reviews Wonderful
Very relaxing location, comfortable and clean rooms
Far from the center of Florence, so not easy reachable but doesn't matter if your stay is for business.
Friendly staff, nice and comfortable, spacious room, excellent breakfast. Very good restaurant in the hotel. Free parking and wifi.
beautiful hotel great room nice bad very nice staff comfortable location nice atmosphere
air condition very bad WiFi very slow breakfast very basic
Beautiful buildings, pool
Lack of a hot breakfast. Scrambled eggs and bacon I have had at many Italian hotels would be a winner here
Everything - Top quality hotel all round, excellent food.
breakfast and restaurant large room and quality of furniture location to nearby businesses
very loud music past midnight - hard to sleep
Clean nice hotel, big swimming pool. Nice room with good matresses.
Very unfriendly personnel, dressed like bouncers and acting like them. No welcome, only "passports". Personnel in restaurant don't speak english. When sitting by the pool one approaches us and asks our roomnumber, then says nothing and leaves. Made my girlfriend feel very uncomfortable!
Really beautiful hotel – perfectly reconstructed with high quality materials (inc. very nice exteriors) Clean swimming pool with nice guy gladly helping in case of need; Clean, nice (and probably newly reconstructed) bathroom; Tasty food in restaurant;
Wedding party in the garden – but finished before midnight (might be problem for families with kids)
a well-maintained haciendalike facility close to the Rome-Bologna autostrada. You didn't really hear the noise from the close-by expressways though. A nice and clean pool facility. A good restaurant with some exquisite dishes. A clever choice if you want to explore Tuscany by car.
The restaurant staff were nice people, but they lack training: some don't speak a word in English; you need to summon them and you never feel SERVED. They may bring you a soup, but you won't get a spoon automatically. The hotel seemingly needs an additional income apart from its core business and you may experience big parties for the residents of the nearby towns, on weekends many strangers may occupy the pool.
The outdoor pool
No English spoken in Restaurant and so complete mess at dinner for 10 people. Staff pretty clueless about wine, which is very unusual for Tuscany. Inexperienced staff spoils a very good hotel
lovely refuge outside an industrial area
The gardens are beautiful.
Beautifully kept, great views and fairly easy to get to. Loved that breakfast was included and the parking lot was great with plenty of parking. Rooms were spacious with plenty of space and I enjoyed the one 110v outlet in the bathroom for easy transition from US to European voltage.
Very good breakfast with a large variety of fruits, bakery products, juices. Super clean bathroom and very comfortable bed.
As we were traveling in a group of four I made reservation for the other pair. It was quite of shock when we realized that other pair get an upgrade to a superior room, wich looked much better. Even though I complained that I made a booking and choose their hotel, they were not wiling to change anything. In my eyes it was unfair. Nevethelless due to noise coming from the kitchen other pair had to leave hotel in 1am bacuse they could not sleep and staff offer another hotel 5minutes away. To summarized what was writen the main negative aspect is that the rooms are not the same and as well sometimes i could be quite noisy.
Location is close to Selex Galileo (for business travelers) Nice furniture in the room.
No gluten free breakfast. Uncomfortable gravel for walking with ladies shoes.
Spacious stylish rooms
Be careful since the receptionist claimed to have not received the Booking.com reservation and tried to charge extra. She did not tell the truth, I saw the reservation in the file ! Be careful when you have to pay
Atmosphère. Large rooms. Décoration of the whole building awesome. Free and good wi fi. Good breakfast. The receptionist at the check out.
The receptionist at the check in was not very friendly.
