The scenery is Ibla, Ragusa’s historic centre, rich in churches and mansions in the Late Sicilian Baroque style, and in narrow and charming lanes some of which can be traveled over only on foot. Our hotel is situated right in the heart of Baroque, recently inscribed in the World Heritage List of Unesco, in a 19th-century mansion tastefully renovated: it offers ten elegant and comfortable rooms, provided with all services. An enchanting place, with 22 beds only, for the special customers.

In the summer time our hotel has a private beach equipped in Marina di Ragusa (RG) about 20 km. far.

Food & beverage

The scenery is Ibla, Ragusa’s historic centre, rich in churches and mansions in the Late Sicilian Baroque style, and in narrow and charming lanes some of which can be travelled over only on foot.
Antonio and Giuseppe La Rosa’s restaurant is situated right in the heart of Baroque, in the former stables of an old mansion. Tastefully renovated, the dining halls are the ideal place for different services, such as Wine-bar, American Bar and Cigar List. The cuisine includes fish and meat dishes and a vast choice of wines (over 700 on the list) and oils.
Our cuisine is based on local tradition, offering refined and elegantly presented dishes: Mackerel with tender courgette leaves and tomato “capuliatu”, Carob ravioli stuffed with D.P.O. Ragusano cheese, Lasagnette with plain cocoa and ricotta cheese, Noodles with carob, tuna roe and cherry tomatoes, Rabbit with bacon and Bronte pistachio, Yellow-fin tuna on Modica Caponata, Ragusano cheese dessert with thyme honey on a puff pastry: these are only some of the specialities suggested by our chef Vincenzo Candiano according to the course of the seasons.

All bedrooms are provided with Mini Bar, TV set with satellite, Telephone, Early 20th-century fittings with handicraft wooden furniture, Simmons Privilege mattresses with extra mattress available, two kinds of pillows: soft and medium hard, toilets are equipped with towel set, slippers, bathrobe, hair dryer, armchairs, suitcase stool, desktop, safe.
Junior Suites are supplied with sofas.

Reading and TV room: Excavated in the rock, it has got comfortable sofas and Satellite tv

Gianluc, the cheery owner, was extremely helpful and delightful. Our room which had a loft setup for the large, comfortable bed, was very spacious, though it could have used better reading lights.The dinners were very good. The common areas were very conducive to conversation with other guests, something we really enjoyed in this hospitable atmosphere.

It was very hard to find, but once we got there, it was great. The breakfasts could have been a bit better organized and plentiful.
