Die Lage direkt hinter der Stazione Termini (max. 5 Gehminuten vom Zentralen Umsteigeplatz) entfernt. Das Frühstück in der ca. 3 Min. entfernten Bar war italienisch - also Kaffee mit einem süßem Weckerl und Orangensaft war ok.

Die Zimmer die gebucht waren wurden in ein Appartment umgewandelt - an sich nichts schlechtes, allerdings waren wir dann vergessen. Die ganzen 4 Tage wurden die Zimmer nicht gemacht, Müll ausleeren, Betten richten - Fehlanzeige. Der Duschvorhang über der Badewanne war beängstigend weil sehr entgegenkommend und im "Wohnzimmer" gab es Schimmelflecken. Wenn man das heiße Wasser aufdrehte während man zähneputzte war das Wasser lauwarm bis man in die Wanne steigen konnte. Wasserdruck katastrophal aber das ist italienisch. Auf die Bitte einen Föhn zu bekommen - da dieser im Internet ja als vorhanden beworben wurde - konnte leider nicht eingegangen werden. Internetauftritt des Hotels sehr nett - allerdings mit dem was man bekommt nicht zu vergleichen. Lieber die Hände davon lassen, man weiß nicht wo man landet!

Zwar einfache Einrichtung (kein Schrank, nur Regale) aber sonst alles in Ordnung, Bad gut und zweckmäßig.

Location The receptionist with the curly hair was great. Very pleasant and helpful. The other guy was not that friendly at all.

Not quite as nice in real life to the photos on the website. Safe didn't work Gate key didn't work Took some time to get the breakfast vouchers which was basically a pastry and a coffee

I stayed there over the weekend with my friend. We appreciated their flexibility; we did not have to pay extra for late arrival (around 22pm Friday), we could leave our luggage after check-out until late afternoon hours of the day of departure. Overall experience positive. Staff is very helpful. Croissants offered in the close-by cafeteria as breakfast were really delicious.

They didn't notice that we asked for 2 single beds, so first night we slept on kingsize bed. Be more explicit with this request if you rather not like to end up like this. They could have some shelf in the bathroom so that it is easier to keep your cosmetics there.

Stay was alright. Great if you are planing to use public transport. Termini is around the corner. many great restaurants are around.

Room heater didn't work. Breakfast was in a outside far away cafe by means of coupons so never used the provided breakfast.

Although I made a booking 6 months ahead, no rooms were available and we got a much larger apartment but it was not very clean. There was just a drizzle of water in the shower. Breakfast is just a coffe and a croasont in a bar outside

Babu stood up for his reputation being an excelent host. Room is spacious, clean, simple and eficient, relaxing big double bed, bathroom clean and large. Tv + a/c very good. Also wifi connection. The location is excellent. 3 blocks from termini. I searched Google Earth before and it was easy to get there. Also the breakfast was nice and in italian style consisting in croissant and cappucino. I recommend this hotel and I would return back with great pleasure.

It was in a great location, lots of restaurants around. Very close to the central station. The staff was great and helpful and for the price it was a great place to stay. It's not a 5 star hotel and doesn't try to be. It provides the basics and was a great place to stay. Bed was comfortable, room was nice and heated, the shower was hot and the toilet flushed. Great place for people not trying to break their bank and want to spend most of their money on food and visiting the city.

Maybe not the cleanest to what some people might be used to.

Penelope is near Termini station, maybe two minutes of walk which is great, because Termini has both metro ststions and train from Fiumicino airport also stops there so there's no need to carry heavy luggage for long. Price is more than ok, rooms are clean and new, everyday floor has been washed, breakfast was included, it has both heating and air con, and warm water anytime.

Maybe there could be storage room for luggage. We had our flight in the evening so after check out we left our luggage in the middle of the holeway. It's not that I didn't like that just felt a kind of unconfortable leave it just there for the whole day. But important thing is that it's safe so it's no matter where they put it.

The location is excellent. It is very clean, and very secure. Mr Babu even made Check-In a pleasure, he is extremely friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and a good size, with a balcony. The breakfast was very nice, and there are numerous restaurants and cafes nearby, as well as a large amount of facilities in Termini Station, including an underground supermarket. Our stay at the Casa Di Penelope was so good, we can't wait to return.

It was very new and comfortable with lots of modern conveniences. Security was very good.

The owner was rude to me. When we checked in the owner took our passports to take down the details and told us to go to our room with our bags. I refused and chose to stay in reception with my passport. I never let my passport out of my site and they took that as a personal attack on them. It is a rule of thumb for me when I travel and he took it personally. If you are going to run a hotel one shouldn't hold a grudge against a traveller/paying customer simply because they don't want their passport out of their site. It's nothing personal, it's just common sense. I thought he was therefore very unprofessional. He continued to be rude for my entire stay.

The staffs are very friendly and the location is near termini,and the facilities in the hotel are great,the room is clean too,i really enjoy my stay here.

The hotel is hard to find.There is no sign on the building,There is a iron gate in front of the building and many buttons beside the gate,the name of the hotel is on one of them.

There is no big hotel sign. We luckily found it from counting the block and number. You will find a big wooden door with a hotel name tag. It is hard to find if you reached there at night time.

I was confirmed to get a single room for 2 nights at € 271 after tax (money is not an issue for my comfort) at a Casa Di Penelope. Payment was asked to be settled upfront and all seemed well. After a long day out, I learned I was caught in the hotel's over-booked situation. I came back to the hotel to get news that I can stay in their chic double-room for the first night and will be moved to "their" other place nearby for the second night. They offered to give my money back if I refuse the arrangement; meaning, I would be in the street without bed. Was weary from a long day, I was too tired to rearrange my final night in Rome. I just trust they would give me at least the same level of comfort considering the high price I had paid. The room of my second night is actually in other hotel that is minuscule, very standard let alone chic, (if lucky) with wifi in the room; and at HALF the price I had paid in actual fact!

The location was really good, and Baboo the receptionist was very friendly.

The A C was leeking and so got up to a wet floor as the out let was going into a plastic Jerry can.

Service was good and there was always someone manning the front desk, although Babu really seemed to be the one who could get things done. He was very helpful and arranged for a car to the airport and got hot water working when it wasn't. I was actually surprised that we went from no hot water to plenty in a few minutes. One thing that I liked as opposed to every other place I stayed in Italy is that electricity didn't have the key card requirement to keep it running. So I was able to charge my equipment while we were touring. I was actually pleased with the experience, although it was such a shock that we almost didn't stay. I would stay there again and would recommend it to someone who is looking for a value stay.

This was quite a bit different than what I expected. It is not labelled from the street, so you have to look at the street numbers. We finally found the place after walking past it twice and someone helped us find it. It is just part of another building, so you have to look for it as you would an office. The rooms are converted from larger office or condo space. You can see where the walls were put in. Because of this, there really are no secrets from your neighbors. The bedroom area is spartan but clean. There are no closets or wardrobes, just some shelves and some hangers out in the open. The bathroom had new everything and was very clean. There are no provided soaps, shampoos or shower caps - you will need to bring you own. You also only get one towel per person and a floor mat. I think you could get more if you asked, we didn't have the need though. My complaints are that the place is very hard to find if you don't know what you are looking for and then that WiFi was not available in the rooms when we understood that it would be, it appears to be available for some but not all.

Good location near Termini, we appreciated air condition. Room was simple, but clean. We liked breakfest which consist of tea/cofee/capuccino and sweet pastry.

The street is quite noisy. One night we heared our loud italian neighbour.

Casa Di Penelope is in a fantastic location, just a few minutes walk from the side exit of Termini station. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was stylish, clean, comfortable and furnished to a high standard.

The wifi was unreliable on the 2nd floor where we were staying.
