Extremely friendly personnel. Big room for the price. Walking distance from the airport but not to good for a citytrip. Somewhat noisy.

Free WiFi was down at the moment but I was under the empression they would have it fixed in a few days.

Very convenient for Pisa Airport, it really was only 5 minutes walk from the terminal. Receptionist was very friendly and the room was comfortable, clean and quiet.

Close to Pisa and to the (poor) hotel.

Always strange why you form the boarding lane att app 20-30 minutes before the actual boarding starts

There was no one at the hotel when we arrived. I had to phone to get in. The woman demanded that I pay € 52 in cash (no credit cards) - I thought I had prepaid with my Visa card. Hotel difficult to find

Please provide better directions on the website. It was actually very near: just behind the airport but we had to go around the airport walking for about an hour just to locate the hotel, when it's actually just a few meters away from the train station.

Location is fantastic for an early flight the next morning. Room was perfectly adequate,good heating & lots of hot water-good in freezing december. We were the only guests that night,which probably helped

Without a reliable gps,the place would be v.difficult to find. Walking from the airport,it's in a highly unlikely-looking location & there are no signs,until you reach the front door of what looks like just a private house! But that's quite nice...once you've found it!

Located in a strange residential area with no businesses or restaurants around. Not as close to airport as suggested and when asked how to walk to the airport she suggested we take a taxi which cost us 15 euros. ROOMS VERY CLEAN GREAT PRICE

It was close to the airport. Tidy room.

Nice hotel, friendly people, clean room. Very basic and well priced. A lot of value for little money.

It is very near the airport,.

1. When I arrived I had to come back an hour later because noone was there, despite it raining heavily and depsite my giving advance notice of my arrival. 2. There was some unpleasantness over the price I was expected to pay, which was presented as higher than the reduction given through booking.com, due to an issue with my credit card at the time of booking, which the site did not flag. This problem was resolved to my satisfaction. It is not clear whether the fault was with booking.com's system or with the hotel. I did not like their manner of handling the issue however, which was markedly lacking in discretion. 3. NB: Although I told them I had an early flight (up at 5 am) the staff/family of the b&b decided to have a party, which went on into the early hours of the morning. There were evident sounds of drunkenness veering at times into aggressive arguments, with loud male and female voices. I was too frightened to complain since these people were clearly both drunk and aggressive, and since they had already demonstrated their disrespect by doing this in the first place. This was the worst accommodation experience of my life. Locked out in the rain; hastling over money; riotous drunkenness of staff - that about says it all.

Alessandra.....the landlady was most friendly welcoming on my evening arrival. The hotel is literally a step away from the airport..walk past departures...down the left hand platform at the train station...and turn into the road near the level crossing and you are there...This is the second year running I have stayed here for an overnight stop en route by train to Florence, but I have never been disturbed by aircraft noise.

Just a 10 minutes walk away from the check-in at the airport Pisa, it was perfect for us to spend the night to catch our very early flight. very friendly guestlady, and a nice, clean room.

The location ( less than a 5 minute walk from the airport)

Nice and friendly receptionist. Clean rooms. VERY near the airport which was why er choose this place. Will use it again.

It was situated close to the airport which was good since we arrived late in the evening. One could check in until midnight and though we were a bit later than that the landlady still greeted us very friendly. The air condition in the room made the night durable.

The beds were a bit too hard for our taste. The bed linen felt like they were bed spreads instead.

A charming young woman at the reception who took me to a house nearby as the main pensione was full. There I was given a room with bathroom, while at the main hotel, guests share. We had a long conversation about the fiesta della citta which was happening that night. Amazingly, although right next to the airport and a highway, the room was not too noisy. P.S. Tip: trains from Pisa Centrale to Pisa Airport are infrequent, especially on a Saturday evening. But with little luggage, you could actually walk the distance in less than half an hour, it is so close!

It would have been useful to have slightly more information about how to walk to the Pensione, which is truly only a stone's throw (less than 5 mins on foot!) from the airport, but you do have to realise that you must walk through a parking lot where there is an odd pathway between fencing on both sides which it takes imagination to detect.

We needed somewhere to stay close to Pisa Airport, and A Casa Doina was perfect - only a 5 minute walk away.

The price seemed high for a shared bathroom and no breakfast.

We were staying there one night before early flight as it is located in walking distance from the airport. So location is a pro for us. In other hand it's really not noisy thanks to thick walls. We slept well and heard no planes at all. We had 5-person room and it was nice and clean. Very tall ceil, good furniture. Unfortunately our neighbours by floor had a flight in the same time so we got some difficulities sharing a bathroom in 4 a.m. :) Finally, I would like to say few words about receptionist. There was a bulgarian girl and it was really funny for us to chat with her. (we are from Russia) She was helpful and friendly. And just beatiful at last :)

Leaving in the morning

We were led to believe we would be staying in Casa Doina Airport when we were in fact taken to Casa Doina Airport 2 which is not as nice as the main Casa Doina. We were also led to believe we would come out of the Check In at the airport and walk across the airport and it was almost facing it with only a 3 minute walk, when in fact it is tucked away at the back of a small housing estate. We were looking for it and asking for directions for an hour and a half, carrying our cases. We went to Casa Doina Airport 2 first and got directions to go to Casa Doina Airport 1. When we got there after all this walking about, we were told this was only used for reception and we were staying in cd2. The place was very noisy (the room was in front of a main motorway flyover) and doors were slamming all night. The room was cold with insufficient blankets, there were no tea or coffee making facilities, which is mean considering the price and we could have been given clearer instructions on how to get there. After all this, they told us if we'd walked through the airport to the train station and walked to the end of Platform 1 and took a right, it was only a five minute walk, why could this not have been told to us as we tried with great difficulty to find this place tucked away at the back of beyond. Absolutely awful, I was with my 14 year old daughter and our intentions had been to visit Pisa on our last day, as it happened by the time we found the place and had something to eat we were too tired to do anything but go back and sleep. A very disappointing end to our otherwise wonderful holiday, and I feel cheated out of our last day - as we were really looking forward to seeing the leaning tower and miracle square. I'm also disappointed that the info given to us about this place was wrong. We were shown a picture of one place and then made to stay in another (and not the one we paid for).
