Charming old-style hotel in a narrow street in the medieval town - with a rooftop lounge overlooking the bay and other rooftops, and a breakfast patio with sea view and a naughty population of pigeons that stalk the breakfast buffet. The food is covered - no worries - but not a place for those with bird phobia. Cappuccino served in old ceramic cups.
The decor is truly charming with delicate painting on furniture - beds, cupboards etc. your guest bathroom has piping hot water and a shower cabinet plus a bidet, loo and single vanity.
But the biggest old fashioned hitch is no lift - we had many stairs to climb. We.parked the car in the port snd they fetched us with a buggy - thank goodness - plus helped us carry the luggage up all those stairs. Two flights of steep stairs.
The hotel is close to everything on that island packed with treasures - including exquisite churches - I went into 3 of them. Also truly marvellous choice of restaurants and the nearby coffee bar Martinucchi.
The hotel breakfast included yoghurt, cereals, pastries, fruit 🍎 - as well as the essential cappuccinos.

Nice compact town with lots of history and great sea views.
Nice compact town with lots of history and great sea views. Working harbour with a variety of boats and yachts in moorings.
Has been taken over a bit too much by continuous seaside souvenir shops making it a bit tacky in places. Plenty of decent restaurants with an abundance of seafood.

A lively and picturesque old town with an excellent offer.
A lively and picturesque old town with an excellent offer. The pulse of the city can only be felt if you stay in the old town on the island. You can be prepared for remote parking, impossible staircases in buildings... but everything you need on vacation is within walking distance.

We liked town and surrounding. Beautiful fish restaurants everywhere. Since we rented the car had the options to explore the other towns nearby. Galippoli was our base and from then we visited historical small town Nardo. The very good option to start your trip in Apulia😊

Gallipoli is a fantastic small town. the old town is separated from the other part of the town by a bridge .Located on top of a rock the old town with the small castle make a very picturesque place where to take pictures from any corners. surrounded by turquoise colour water. In October the water's temperature is still warm for you to enjoy as well as to get a suntan. Lots of restaurants one better than another , offering fantastic panoramic view when sitting outside . The best way to get around gallipoli is on foot , cycling or a moped . In my opinion the best time to visit Gallipoli and surrounding is September ,october ,June and July . particularly good is October ,still warm ,good weather but very peaceful .

Everything was perfect, right from the initial contact with Vito. The room was fresh, clean and beautifully styled. Loved the terrace where breakfast was served and of course Christina was very special and a wonderful hostess who went that extra mile to look after us.
My favorite stay during our month traveling through Italy. Awesome, spacious home on an isolated compound. Quiet, beautiful surroundings and a 10 minute walk from the coast. A fine base the explore the farthest reaches of Puglia, if you're inclined to do so. Being near a stretch of coast with a lot of vacation homes, i can imagine it being more busy in the summer, but in this case everything was dreamily quiet and deserted. Would be perfectly happy to spend a month here.
Very modern room, different from where we normally stay, with numerous mirrors as decoration on the walls. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful and went to a lot of trouble to find somewhere suitable for us in the evening. I'm glad we did not stay on the historic centre as we enjoyed the experience of crossing the bridge from the hotel to arrive in the old quarter.
We had the Junior suite with sea view. More than worth the money. Fantastic view. Very high end hotel with parking available. Easy to drop off luggage with
service to and from the parking that is restricted to outside the old town. Restaurant across street is wonderful with great food and charming host Danny. Great breakfast, staff, and room with full size shower.
The location of this hotel in the old city of Gallipoli is excellent. Walking distance to the beach, restaurants, shopping. Parking in the old city is a little challenging, but the family who own the hotel are extremely helpful on communicating options. Beautiful, spotless, first rate accommodations with first class service. Thank you Pascaraymundo!

The owners, Alberto and Ivana who were hospitable and warm hearted. Alberto recommended a restaurant called Osteria del Vico which was the best seafood restaurant we've been in Italy! The quality of seafood there was exceptional. The room was beautifully decorated.
The hotel is absolutely lovely, well kept and decorated. The breakfast and rooftop areas take the prize for outstanding view in Gallipoli. Staff were lovely, breakfast very food and ample, and the location couldn’t be better. Highly recommend!
Cute little apartment located ideally within the Gallipoli old city. The owner was excellent and very flexible with check-in and check-out time. Well-equipped little kitchen for small cooking with a moka pot. Would definitely book again.
We liked everything: location, room, decor, breakfast by the sea and super nice owner or representative Mario. He’s super helphul and kind person. It’s big priviledge to meet people like Mario. Best of Italy
