The staff at this hotel were very friendly and helpful. They conversed well in English, French, German and Spanish .. possibly more. The room was very comfortable, clean and well maintained. The evening turn down service was a nice touch. The breakfast is quite basic, but more than sufficient, the only thing was on the last morning of our stay they seemed to run out of food even though it was only 9am and breakfast was served til 10.30. The hotel bar prices were quite high, but there are lots of other nearby places to have a drink and snack. |

The location is great - very close to the Rialto bridge and the san marco square. Also friendly staff and clean room. Slightly luxurious, although I've seen more luxury for these room rates... If it says "breakfast included"I expect a full breakfast - at an average price of 250 Euro.night, I do not want to pay extra for scrambled eggs or ham! We spent 6 days at the hotel and enjoyed our stay very much,The location was perfect. The room was big and very comfortable. The bathroom was huge and beautiful. When our Italian friend who came to see us saw the bathroom she said that it looked like a concert hall. I would add, like a beautiful concert hall. The service was excellent. Complementary breakfast was elegantly served and good. We were very happy that had chosen that hotel. It was one of the best we had ever stayed in our lives. |

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. They were able to give excellent information for eating , traveling, and site seeing. Everyone was so nice to our children also. It is an excellent location for shopping and site seeing with the Rialto Bridge, Saint Mark's, and the Grand Canal just a short walk away. The breakfast was mediocre. |

Hotel is located in the center Venice ,of poorly accessible for passengers with luggage. Hotel has no desire to help guests with luggage. Only when ordering a taxi for 60-100 Euro. There is no restaurant in the hotel, there is not in the hotel fitness, sauna. |

Our stay in Hotel A La Commedia was most enjoyable. From check-in to check-out the whole stay was faultless. Staff were very helpful & friendly. Hotel very beautiful and very comfortable. Cleanliness was first class throughout hotel. The Breakfast buffet was very relaxed and leisurely meal. Even the directions given on the hotel's web page were concise and easy followed. The hotel is situated in a very central position with access to all the sites only a short walk/boat ride away. Venice is a beautiful city and our stay was made all the more enjoyable because of our accomodation. Excellent hotel offering excellent service. Initially, I missed not having Tea & coffee making facilities in the room however this did not really detract from the stay. |
