Het Hotel Abacus ligt op slechts 5 minuten rijden van het historische centrum van Sirmione. Het bevindt zich in de wijk Colombare, op slechts 300 meter afstand van het Gardameer. Het buitenzwembad wordt omgeven door een groot terras. De kamers zijn voorzien van een koelkast, airconditioning, en zachte vloerbedekking. Sommige kamers bieden een eigen balkon. Het Hotel Abacus ligt nabij sportfaciliteiten, winkels en cafés. De thermische baden Terme di Sirmione zijn ook op slechts een steenworp afstand gelegen. In de buurt van het hotel stoppen bussen met verbindingen naar het stadscentrum van Sirmione en het pretpark Gardaland. Hotelkamers: 19

Handige locatie in Sirmione om de rest van het Gardameer te verkennen. Zwembad aan het hotel. Slechte service. Kamer bij ontvangst aangetroffen met verstopte goten, de douche liep over. Elke dag stonk het in de kamer, maar konden ze niks aan doen zeiden ze. Ontbijt was inclusief, maar minimaal, omdat ze niks aanvulde gedurende de ontbijttijd. Dus wanneer men later aankwam was er aanzienlijk minder om uit te kiezen. Opmaken van bedden was het enige wat ze elke dag deden. Handdoeken verwisselen was moeilijk en ging ook vaak fout.

Wij hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad, er is heel vriendelijk personeel,mijn broer zat met zijn gezin ook in Sirmione en mocht gewoon gebruik maken van het zwembad als hij ons bezocht in Abacus. De kamers werden goed schoongemaakt,de airco werkte uitstekend,en ook het ontbijt was goed. Je zit midden in het centrum en bij het Gardameer maar toch zit je er heel rustig. Geen druk verkeer oid. We hadden een ruim balkon waar we savonds heerlijk konden zitten met uitzicht op de bergen. Een dikke 10 voor Hotel Abacus!!

Fine location, parking underground & on the street. Price seemed OK. Breakfast "Swedish table" style isn't really such when coming from Scandinavia and comparing to Swedish breakfast in Stockholm's hotels.

It was nice to come back to the hotel after a day out and have a reasonably warm swimming pool to relax in. The hotel staff were friendly. Don't go there - the bathrooms smelt. When we arrived at the hotel as soon as we opened the bathroon door we were hit by a very unpleasant pong. Having shown the receptionist the bathroom she agreed to move us to another room but in the end we had to move 3 times in a 4 night stay. All the bathrooms were very small and were in need of refurbishing and to be honest they were all on the smelly side. On the plus side in fairness to the hotel they did discount our rate when we went to settle the bill withour us asking.

We enjoyed our stay at the Abacus. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the hotel is clean, the rooms spacious with good packing space and the air conditioning individually controlled. The en-suite was dated, but the shower had good pressure. My children loved the pool and were made to feel welcome. We found the location to be good, close to shops and restaurants but tucked away on a side street, so not at all noisy. Sirmione town is a pleasant 20-30 minute walk away and the lake is close by too. The hotel has cycles for hire, but hiring a car is definately the best way to get around especially to get to water parks/family attractions etc. The breakfast was very good, plenty of choice with delicious fresh fruit, rolls, croisants, pastries, cakes, ham, cheese etc, etc. I would stay at the Abacus again.

Close to the historic centre and the lake. Nice and friendly staff. I would recommend the hotel for short stays around lake Garda. For some reason the air conditioning was stinking so we had to turn it off.

Eccezionale cortesia dello staff. Buona la preparazione per la colazione. Struttura vecchia per cui eccessivo il costo rispetto ad un Hotel che sarà stato realizzato più di 20 anni fa! A livello strutturale è una "pensione" che ha prezzi da hotel.

Ottima la posizione: a poca distanza vi sono ristoranti, supermercato, bus per il centro e per altre destinazioni. Ottima l'accoglienza. Le receptionist sono gentilissime, simpaticissime e molto preparate su ogni cosa. Le camere sono dotate di ogni comfort (tv, cassaforte, telefono, bollitore tè / caffè, ciabatte) e molto pulite. L'ascensore necessiterebbe di ..."revisione" / sostituzione. Se si accende il bollitore, salta la corrente nella camera.
