Nice room and excellent beds (firm). Staff very welcoming and helpful. Very close to the Fortezza da Basso (congress center).
Breakfast without fresh fruit and milk.
The location is quite near the station, take bus 4 or 28. Paolo has explained to me where to go and how while the check in.
I was in the upper appartment, the furniture is vey very old, the kitchen is not functional at all (including the cooker, the fridge, the washmachine), the sofa is very old, the last night there was no internet and I was in a great need. the day of the check out, Paolo didn't come at time, after 9.30 I had to cancel some of my programs. There is only a chinese restaurant in the neighborhood, The nearest italian restaurant is 1km far away. I found the prices very high comparatively with the offred service. The trains pass up your head.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Good Wi-Fi and breakfast.
Strong and unpleasant smell of detergent in the room. Very poor soundproofing. Neighbors from above were much louder than the train outside the window:-)
everything was fun. nice people and good staff. I liked it very much. I would like to stay there again and again... Thanks for all
It's a nice old house. Comfortable. Overall we had a nice stay.
I didn't find it so eco-friendly. Here are some ideas: 1. use soap dispensers instead of the usual little plastic bag soap. 2. Have containers to separate the trash, as you recommend in the instructions. 3. Breakfast could also consist of things that use less plastic.
We arrived fairly late, but the proprietor was there and extremely helpful. He offered good information with regard to a nearby restaurant, taxis and parking. The in-room breakfast was just okay, but definitely enjoyed being able to make coffee/tea in the morning. You can definitely tell that he takes pride in the room details. Would definitely recommend!
We made the mistake of not having GPS in our rental car and, therefore, spent some time trying to navigate the roads of Florence to find this B&B. Next time, we'll be smarter and either take a taxi or have better directions.
Paulo and his staff helped us try and locate our lost iPhone from the taxi company, they were so friendly and helpful during that stressful time. They also recommended restaurants, bus routes and things to do. The B and B was nicely decorated and furnished, and the room was cosy.
The only slight downside is that you can hear trains from the nearby train station - but with earplugs you'll be just fine.
hotel muito fraco, pequeno almoço ridiculo
Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms were nice.
Noisy trains - better isolation required. Bathrooms could be freshened up. Packaged food for breakfast in a Eco friendly hotel is not best!
The staff were friendly and helpful.
It was a bit far from the train station by walking.
The staff did help sometimes. We were provided with extra pillows on request (originally only one each).
We were asked to pay when we had paid already. There was black mould in the bathroom, layers of dust on the lamps and damp in the corner of the room. It was not comfortable, the bed was hard and squeaked loudly whenever you made the slightest move. The hairdryer didn't work. The breakfast was packaged and layed out on a tray the day before. You have to cross a major road junction to get there. It was not very 'eco'. The food provided was heavily packaged and not organic or rainforest alliance friendly. They didn't seem to understand what 'vegan' meant and were not prepared to make any alterations to the 'breakfast'. The lightbulbs were not energy-saving. Not really any more eco than any other B&B I've stayed in, except for a few posters ironically advertising against overly packaging food. I understand that B&Bs in Florence aren't legally allowed to provide fresh breakfast in a dining room, but there are more ecologically friendly breakfasts than nescafe and supermarket croissants.
Wonderful receptions Clean place Good service
The interior, the facilities are perfect. Really liked eco style.
The owner is so kind that we were able to enjoy a comfortable stay there. The room is so nice, too. Clean and cute. If I have a chance to go to Firenze again, I'd love to stay at this B&B :)
The hotel owner Paolo is very nice and easy going. Without his advices we could be lost in the city:) We really enjoyed the room furnishing. The hotel is located in 15-20 min by walk from the city centre.
