Especially in Venice the location of the hotel is crucial. Abbazia is close to the railway station and Piazzale Roma where the airport buses arrive. The room was small, the bathroom instead was large and modern. The breakfast was exellent. Friendly staff. |

Fantastic period property with courtyard garden. Great setting, close to the main station and vaporetto links, but peaceful all the same. Really helpful staff. |

This was our favorite hotel on our trip staff were Brillant very helpful if going to Venice this is the place to stay very close to train station no lugging suite cases over bridges but still close to all you need in Venice If you struggle with climbing stairs ask for a room on the ground floor |

Very helpful staff who gave great directions and help regarding Venice. Wonderful location for train station. Half hour walk to St Marks square. Nice and quiet. Good breakfast. |

the hotel is very close to the train station. the hotel staff is extremely help, not only they recommanded some nice restaurants only locals go, they also helped to fix one of our luggeges which was broken. very nice people. |

Staff very friendly and very helpful. Bathroom beautiful but bedroom a little small. Excellent location for getting about and restaurants. Couldn't gret a drink after 11-30pm on Monday and Tuesday the bar was not open at all |

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast! Quite a poor continental breakfast. Orange juice machine used powdered juice and was often empty. A small selection of hot food i.e. sausages/ scrambled egg would have gone down a treat and would be so easy to do! |

I only stayed there for one night because of the location of hotel Abbazia near the Piazzale Roma (had to catch an early flight).. but I also chose hotel Abbazia because of the historical background (and it reminded me of my favorite (and similar) hotel in Belgium.. very friendly and helpful staff.. free access to the internet.. |

The staff was amazing!! Super nice and very helpful. The hotel itself was beautiful, very old world looking. I'm usually very wary to book hotels that look old and charming, because I've had plenty of experiences where they turn out to be old and crappy instead. But I'm so glad I took a chance on this one! The lobby was extremely charming warm feeling, and the rooms were comfortable. The only major complaint that the walls were very thin in the hotel, so it was pretty noisy in the room. And there's a church with a bell that rings sporadically all through the night, so I wouldn't recommend for a light sleeper. |

When I checked in was greeted by friendly staff who made me feel welcome even after I had to change my reservation very late. Very close to everything needed and great information on what is a complicated city. |
