The girls at reception desk were always smiling and helpful.

The waiting staff in the breakfast/dining area were not efficient especially if one arrived later during the session.

Really close to the railway station. Free wifi. Historic city center within walking distance (if you like to walk). Good value for money. I would choose this hotel again, regardless of my negative remarks. Nice simple cafe open in afternoon and evening, so you can get your coffee or a glass of whatever (Quality OK, different from the free breakfast).

Staff does not understand much English or French, even if they try. Breakfast is very "budget". The choice and service is OK, but the food and drink itself is as cheap as it gets ("juice" is sugar water with fruit taste, coffee is the worst I had in Italy ...).

This hotel is especially convenient for travellers by train, and is also well served by buses and taxis to the city centre. It stands opposite the station on a busy road, so we were very pleased to have a nice quiet secluded room in a courtyard at the back of the hotel. Breakfasts were good and the hotel has useful information about the city. Most staff were friendly and helpful.

One senior member of staff seemed to have a hostile attitude. Her actions were perfectly correct but her manner was extremely cold and off-putting. One of our bedside lights didn't work. I mentioned this at reception, but nothing was done about it. We saw no remote control for the television or instructions about how to operate it.

The only +ve point of this hotel is that it is close to city centre.

I will not call this hotel a 3-star hotel. This hotel is really very very basic - simple bed & breakfast type. There is no fridge in the room, cupboards are shaky, staff hardly speak English.

The location, the cleanliness, the comfort of the room and the breakfast choices

Parking in the garage was expensive.

The staff especially, were most friendly and helpful. We were asked if we would mind changing rooms after the first night, and were put into a much larger and better equipped one than previously. One of the receptionists went to great lengths to make sure that we had everything we could possibly have wished for. We felt that it was a very kind gesture indeed on her part.
