Hotel Aberdeen    

Location was good. Proximity to major attractions ie Colossium, The Forum, the Vatican and Trevi Fountain was great.

Rooms near the dining room are a bit noisy as the noise from the terrazzo floor travels under the door.

Stayed 1 night. Left for airport before breakfast so time spent at hotel was limited. Staff was helpful and friendly.

Small old-style TV

The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. Our Italian is poor and their English is great. The room is smallish but adequate. Shower was tiny but typical for Europe and worked well. Refrigerator in room, safe in closet, modern and clean furnishings and bath. Air conditioning was not supposed to be available until later in the year but it was very hot one day so air was turned on and it was wonderful. One computer in their internet area, but WiFi free and worked well. Breakfast was perfect. The hotel is very well located, close to Termini but not too far from main sights. Quiet street a short distance from a main road. Good choice of restaurants nearby, plus two quick places just outside for a pizza or gelato. Very popular with American's who read Rick Steve's. Would stay again and highly recommend.

Only complaint is small shower but again, typical for Europe.

Central location, very close to Via Nazionale, many stores and restaurants around. In an old palazzo, nice design at its origins. Great staff: polite and nice. Breakfast was quite allright.

In real need of a renovation, the pressure at our shower was low, the bide had water running around, some parts of walls were either dirty or cracked a bit. Cleaning could have been perfect, and not just ok. Didn t like the smell of the toiletries, the shower gel was suitable for men only. Sound proof not existent.

The location is very good for sightseeing. Staff was very organized, polite and attentive. Rooms were spotlessly clean, yet not newly renovated and with old CRT TV. Breakfast was rather poor, but enough to start the day. Anyway, very good value for the money. I would recommend this hotel to all people who came to Rome to spend all day in nice and easy sightseeing rather then relaxing and spending time in hotel!

hotel aberdeen is close to the Roma termini from which u can access all the major sites via the metro.

Very helpful staff, in particular, Mr. Matteo received us with very good tips of where to go and specially where to eat, all good places. Mr. Matteo was an excelent host but all the other staff were very helpful and friendly. Location is also a strong point, being nerar termini staion and metro station, is key to a good city tour trip. Mini market just 3 blocks from the hotel also helps a lot!

The low point was the room being too iluminated by the external lights during the night, there were no black out (courtins) windows. Tiny shower but manageble.

I was especially impressed with the staff. They were exceptionally helpful and really made our trip the best it could be. So appreciative of their advice and assistance.

The beds were pretty hard and the breakfast could have been a little better.
