Nice bed, quiet location, close to airport and city .
Unfriendly staff, ignorant andshowedno interests how I was. It was raining heavily and I got drenched walking in from the car with my bags, no one to open the door, no one offering to bring the bags up to the room . And they call themselves 5*. No way,3at the most! Very disappointing .
- No way it's a five star hotel - looks like a 3-4 star facilities , poor breakfast, no doorman to take the luggage . we needed to walk very long distance to our suite.
Swimming pool The bed is really comfortable The room is big and you have everything you need
Some little details such as the gardens, the cleanliness of the swimming pool or the lack of good gym equipments The restaurant is really expensive when you compare to the ones in the city The breakfast don't worth the money
Good location, free parking, comfortable rooms.
The air conditioning did not work well (we could not turn it on/off from the room). Poor bathroom shower. Not the quality expected for a 5 stars hotel.
Pool Near Pisa Tower
Restaurant service organisation is a complete mess Bathroom was full of moisture Air Conditioning was leaking (water even in the luggage...)
Location, breakfast, swimming pool, efficient service.
wi fi required frequent re-entering of code. for a 5 star hotel pool area(showers, loungers) could be better maintained
Spacious rooms. Helpful staff. Instant attention. Courteous and excellent English. Close to Tower of Pisa. Clean pool.
Rather unpleasant walk along a busy road to the Tower. No pedestrian crossing for hotel guests.(Although possibly out of control of hotel!!)
Terrible customer service Swimming pool not heated Wifi not working properly except in reception Really poor value for money Ranked as 5 stars but really not giving a 5 star experience Would absolutely not recommend and would not go back
Rooms was great. Breakfast is nice.
hallway to dark.
Good Price/Quality rate, good comfort, nice and helpful staff good equipment good location - near to heart of Tuscany (countryside), near to sea, sightseeings, comfortable beds (but not as those used in Marriott), free parking, lots of greens, pool, sun beds
Italian negligence: 1. Nice and spacious bathroom - but with the mold (a lot of mold!) in the bathing place 2. Nice smelling hallway with intimate low-luminate lighting - but if you look better you will find that the carpet was not cleaned maybe a month 3. House keeper were nice - but if you run with your toilet paper out, she will not bring new unless you ask it. As well as the other equipment - we used two glass for the juice and left them to wash by housekeeper - they were lying there for 2 day unles we washed them by ourselves. The same principle is valid for everything, 4. Restaurant is ran by other company than the company that ran the hotel - therefore you must pay for breakfat in cash - it is not possible to bill it to the room account. They had a lunch menu but the restaurant was never opened during the lunch time. 5. Insufficient breakfast - one kind of sausage, eggs, ham and cheese + 3 kinds of croisants + some small cakes thats all. Vegetable = surgarch. Yoghurt = surcharge... 6. Insufficient soundproofing in the room 7. We had the room with the "tower view" but the whole view was obscured with the near trees 8. Most of TV Programs did not ran. The digital radio did not ran at all as well as other electronic services. 9. The hotel is obviously a standard 4* NOT a 5* hotel - for exaple the bathrobe was missing, consierge service is not provided, onsite restaurant is outsourced and not running all day ...
It was conveniently close to the Leaning Tower, being only a 20-minute walk to Leaning Tower. Breakfast buffet was fairly good. Pool was nice.
We expected much more for the price charged. The room had almost no lighting, with only one bed-side lamp in the bedroom and no lighting in the lounge area. A huge standing lamp was provided for the lounge when we asked. Also, there was some sort of perfume coming through the air conditioning, and they had an air freshner plugged into one of the outlets. The double bed was mediocre. The restaurant was very expensive; and, they charged us 8 euro for the privilege of sitting down to eat (apparently we had to pay extra since they ended up putting two tables together - which, of course they didn't tell us about until we had to pay the bill). Overall, if this is what you get in a 5-star in Pisa, we will stay somewhere else next time and commute.
Very professional. Good staff. Great facilities. 15 to 20 min walk to shops and leaning Tower. Bus stopout front to main train station on a regular basis.
No trees or shade around the pool. Needs a garden
Fantastic room Great breakfast Fantastic view of the tower from our room Great pool and grounds
Crossing the busy road to get into Pisa.
Great location Bright modern hotel Helpful staff Good value Good breakfast buffet
Bars and Restaurants cash-only Bar/Mini bar prices extortionate Decor quite frayed around the edges especially bathrooms Pool very busy and nowhere near enough loungers
There is nothing to like, except maybe the location which is then taunted when stepping out at night to find oneself in a dodgy red light district and that there is free parking.
There are numerous things not to like at this hotel: 1. This is 100% not a 5 star eatablishment. (I'd like to know who they had to pay off to get those stars) 2. The room is a nightmare, because: A. The walls are mouldy B. The towels were not changed from previous guest. C. One is scared to catch an STD from the bed D. The walls are super thin, you could hear everything.. EVERYTHING!! E. The pillows were completely flat and not comfortable F. The extra pillows in the wardrobe were stained and did not have a cover on them G. The shower had previous guests hair in it H. We finally cracked da vinci's code! The door need 5 people to open
Location away from most tourists. And great outdoor pool. Restaurant on site although not affiliated with the hotel was excellent.
Pool side and restaurant no ability to charge to room have to keep your wallet with you. Also with such a great location trees should be trimmed to give guests a view
Free parking, fast WiFi, price, terrace, beach towels
No drinking water and towels in the gym, hotel felt like 4 stars
Bedroom comfortable Reasonable breakfast Computer and printer available in main foyer which was useful for checking in and printing off boarding pass for flight home. Midday checkout really useful Close location to airport
Location: walk into Pisa can be done in 15 minutes, however this is at a very fast pace! We managed exactly 15mins, spurred on by the walk which was horrid. Walking through the underpass with the busy road alongside was not pleasant, particularly at night and certainly helped encourage a fast pace! Crossing the road at the cross roads near the hotel was also a bit of a challenge. The photos on the website suggested this hotel was going to be a bit different, but it felt more like a business / airport type hotel and was a huge let down. There was a very busy and noisy road the other side of the hedge looking over to the tower, which never went quiet, so we didn't sit out on the balcony.
Bar and restaurant were lovely, good choice of menu and lovely tapas at the bar. Service always very good.
Sunbeds are SO uncomfortable. It's a real shame as the pool is lovely and we were all exhausted and wanted to relax, but they were awful. We have been here 3 times and always thought this. They need to be replaced. Plus there are not enough for the no. of guests which is poor for a 5 star hotel. People were on towels on the grass - maybe it was more comfortable than the sunbeds?!
not far from city
water in a pool not drinkable :)
Very rude waiters.
room, pool , restaurant good choice of food & wines
not being able to charge meals / drinks to room. specific request for flowers in room for wedding anniversary was ignored. long walk into town
Rooms and facilities excellent.
Staff very rude.
The breakfast was ok The Room was 5 star
The Location is far from everywhere Yes you can walk t to the Leaning tower from the hotel but in my opinion it is still far
The rooms are very clear and convenient. The staff is very friendly and they speak English fluently. The restaurant serves nice dices. The distance for the center on foot is 15 minutes. I believe that is the best place in pisa. I'll recommend it
The swimming pool isn't very clean and the restaurant is a little bit expensive
