Score from 770 reviews Very good 8.4/10
Very professional. Good staff. Great facilities. 15 to 20 min walk to shops and leaning Tower. Bus stopout front to main train station on a regular basis.
No trees or shade around the pool. Needs a garden
Fantastic room Great breakfast Fantastic view of the tower from our room Great pool and grounds
Crossing the busy road to get into Pisa.
Great location Bright modern hotel Helpful staff Good value Good breakfast buffet
Bars and Restaurants cash-only Bar/Mini bar prices extortionate Decor quite frayed around the edges especially bathrooms Pool very busy and nowhere near enough loungers
Free parking, fast WiFi, price, terrace, beach towels
No drinking water and towels in the gym, hotel felt like 4 stars
Bar and restaurant were lovely, good choice of menu and lovely tapas at the bar. Service always very good.
Sunbeds are SO uncomfortable. It's a real shame as the pool is lovely and we were all exhausted and wanted to relax, but they were awful. We have been here 3 times and always thought this. They need to be replaced. Plus there are not enough for the no. of guests which is poor for a 5 star hotel. People were on towels on the grass - maybe it was more comfortable than the sunbeds?!
not far from city
water in a pool not drinkable :)
Very rude waiters.
room, pool , restaurant good choice of food & wines
not being able to charge meals / drinks to room. specific request for flowers in room for wedding anniversary was ignored. long walk into town
Rooms and facilities excellent.
Staff very rude.
The breakfast was ok The Room was 5 star
The Location is far from everywhere Yes you can walk t to the Leaning tower from the hotel but in my opinion it is still far
The rooms are very clear and convenient. The staff is very friendly and they speak English fluently. The restaurant serves nice dices. The distance for the center on foot is 15 minutes. I believe that is the best place in pisa. I'll recommend it
The swimming pool isn't very clean and the restaurant is a little bit expensive
The hotel was a 10 - 15 minute walk to the centre of Pisa and had a swimming pool. You can leave your luggage prior to check in. Everything was very clean and the bathroom was excellent, great shower. Storage was great. This would have been a good place to stay without children. Food was good, but not provided by the same people as the hotel so had to be paid for separately. Was not as good as other dining for same prices elsewhere in stay. Felt that the company running the hotel provided good standard of service but didn't really care about the hotel guests having a great stay just wanted to get the most money from the hotel - eg with the disco and this let down what could have been a great place to stay.
The loud disco by the pool which seemed to be for people who weren't staying at the hotel, which went on til late and made it difficult for our small child to sleep. The pool was absolutely freezing. The fruit juice in the morning was not fresh juice and I would have expected fresh juice with the relatively high price of breakfast. No specific bed for our son even though he was booked into and included in the payment for the room.
Great location for visiting Pisa. Easy walk into the old city. Room very comfortable Excellent pool area Good breakfast Restaurant for dinner of high standard Staff exceedingly helpful
No breakfast included
nothing - maybe unique view of Leaning Tower of Pisa. Oh - and it is very close to a real hotel Bagni di Pisa - Do not pass go - this is the only place to stay. Very kid friendly and excellent service and accommodations
The Hotel doesn't manage the Bar/Restaurant. This means the night we stayed there they had a Party until 1am - Louder than a concert at Madison Square Garden. Asked for help and the desk says they can't do anything as they are separate. Towels and Linens very scratchy. Sliding glass door nearly crushed my wife as it fell of its hinges when she opened it to go to balcony. Basically a Howard Johnson Motor lodge. Two little kids and we had been traveling Italy for two weeks. No one even offered to provide us with a baggage cart - never mind any help with the bags. Terrible.
Hotel has good location , close to the airport, very originally designed big comfortable rooms, nice swimming pool
We arrived late the day before and next day missed the breakfast by 10 min only (breakfast was already included in the price of the room). But we did not get any meal, and were told that only cup of coffee can be provided. For 5 star hotel it is not a good attitude.
The Abitalia is a very nice hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool was great and extremely welcome in the 35c+ temperatures. The location is good and only a 15 - 20 minute walk to the Tower.
The walk is easy but I would not do the walk alone at night time, as you have to go under an underpass and along a main road which is a bit dark next to a field. There was also no full length mirror in the room - but not the end of the world.
Connection/street to center of the city.
Modern hotel on the outskirts of Pisa but close enough to walk into town in 15 minutes. Comfortable; Very nice pool. Very good quality food. Friendly staff. Good breakfasts to set you up for the day climbing the Leaning Tower.
Oddly quiet for a 5 star hotel within a stone's throw of Pisa. Not altogether sure why. The only thing I really did not appreciate was having to carry a credit card to dinner as a separate company seems to operate the catering services. Weird for a 5 star hotel. Pool bar also seemed inactive and you had to pay there and then for what you wanted. Nothing could be charged to the room. Overall, a lack of character.
Excellent Hotel, food excellent, staff excellent, the suite was really spacious and a lovely view of the Tower of Pisa from the balcony
Excellent pool and poolside eating facilities. Nice suite but expensive for what was provided. No tea and coffee tray just an empty kitchenette.
Our room was double booked when we arrived although was sorted out fairly quickly. Shelf unit appeared to be coming off the wall in room.
Pluses were the spacious room, pool area, and helpful staff.
Minuses were: The cleanliness of room (blood stains on walls and ceiling where mosquitoes had been killed), shower would not drain appropriately, and the music in the hotel was horrendous...bad U.S. 80s rock. Oh, and one tree blocks the view of the leaning tower for a bunch of rooms :)
Large and comfortable room. Large bed. Good breakfast with helpful staff.
Very easy drive from the , airport under 5km. Walking distance to the Piza tower 1km away, great pool side setup and breakfast is very nice with many choices.
The rooms are very spacious but dirty
It's a filthy hotel, I travel quite a lot, it was first time I've been in a such dirty 5 star hotel, the pool was dirty, the walls, the hall way everything was filthy, other of that, the hotel is beautiful, sad that they don't take good care of
