“Van mijn partner.... die zeer tevreden was van het hotel; de ligging v/h hotel = juist buiten het drukke stadscentrum (slechts 15 min wandelen). Het comfort v/d kamer, de ruime badkamer. Goed bed en een uitgebreid ontbijt. Zeer behulpzaam personeel.”

Het AC Firenze ligt naast het oude station Leopolda, op 15 minuten lopen van het conferentiecentrum Fortezza de Basso. Het biedt moderne kamers met een plasmatelevisie en een gratis minibar. Hotel AC Firenze ligt tegenover het Piazza di Porta al Prato, op slechts 1 km van treinstation Santa Maria Novella. Uw kamer is uitgerust met een badjas, slippers en speciale leeslampjes aan het hoofdeinde van het bed. Alles heeft een frisse en nette uitstraling. De superior kamer was goed. Gewoon goed ontbijt, zoals het hoort. Uitzicht op de stad? Niets aan gelogen, maar was wel een heel lelijk deel van de stad...! Gratis minibar, allen frisdrank. Géén biertje.

Zeer vriendelijk en professioneel personeel. Heel proper en net. Een ondergrondse afgesloten parking, die nog enkele dagen gratis ter beschikking was. Na het weekend (11.07.2011) wordt 15 € per nacht gerekend. Lekker uitgebreid ontbijt. Verzorgde bar met hapjes in de namiddag. Ligt toch een eindje wandelen van het stadscentrum (30 à 40 minuten).

Prima ontbijt ! Prima kamers ! Dramatisch slecht uitzicht, wel 9 hijskranen voor het hotel !!!Er is geen sfeer in het hotel, ontbijt gaat erg chaotisch, prima ontbjt verder !!

Een prachtig modern nieuw hotel. Gratis parkeren in de garage onder het hotel. De staf was zeer informatief! Het onbijt was heerlijk. Het ligt aan de rand van het toeristencentrum, in een onaantrekkelijke straat, zo ong. 20 min. lopen naar het centrum.

Prima, modern hotel met uitstraling. Geeft een design gevoel als je kijkt naar de inrichting en entourage. Prima ontbijt buffet. Ondanks dat het hotel betrekkelijk nieuws, zijn de kamers heel gehorig en konden we de buren letterlijk horen praten.

The room, the breakfast, the location of the hotel if you travel with car. If you travel by car and you can afford it book a room there. It is 20 minutes by foot to the center of the town and outside zlt zone so you don't get fined. Unacceptable in this price range not to be included internet access. I would expect the use of duvet in bed than blanket!

The staff were all very friendly and helpful, breakfast spread was excellent, cleanliness of the entire hotel was excellent to be recomended. A business hotel with no free internet/WiFi - very poor

Location and comfort of room We booked a double room with extra bed for 8 year kid.hotel charge me 15 euro for upgrade the room as they cannot open extra bed to double room . if hotel accept my booking and confirm double room with extra bed they do not have right to charge me 15 euro.

Its now part of the Marriott group, so its included in Marriott rewards, and the service and facilites are hopefully going to be upgradeed to Marriott standard, gym and pool, but at present they are very good in other areas breakfast not up to Marriott standard

Hotel staff are very friendly, the hotel is very clean and the rooms are very comfortable. Good value for money. I highly recommend it and rate it as 9.5/10.

Always use Marriott if available, the hotel seemed unsure when it would issiue Marriott points, but anyway up to Marriott standard When we checked in, even though there was nobody else, the reception staff took a long time to get to us, and one member of staffs English was very poor

The staff went beyond what was expected to make sure your stay is enjoyable and comfortable. The location is excellent, off the busy street but an easy walk to the tram and one stop later you are in the old part of the city very close to the markets. We always felt safe when going to and from the hotel even late at night. Recommend this hotel to anyone vacationing in Florence.

This is a modern, comfortable and clean hotel a short walk away from the city centre, rooms are well equiped, and staff friendly. Great base to explore Florence away from the hussle and noise in the City. The hotel breakfast is buffet style and good but will get very busy at certain times as they seem to cater for coach parties. The dining facilities are quite limited and most people would take evening dinner out in Florence. There is construction of a new cultural centre taking place on the South Side of the hotel and there could be some noise although the double glazing stopped most of this - we had a room on the South Side. Walking to the City and back can be quite tiring, expect to walk at least four miles a day or take a tram to the central station.

the staff was very friendly and courteous, and the hotel design was very modern and chic. we loved it! it wasnt in the city center but it was a 15min walking distance away - which wasnt so bad. but the hotel was in a residential/industrial area which may not be too appealing to certain discerning travellers. but we were ok with it.

Love everything! Great hotel - clean, friendly staff and great breakfast. The location was a little far out but it was a nice walk and seemed quite safe with lots of people around.
