AC Hotel Genova by Marriott  

The room itself was big, new, clean and very comfort. The mini bar was free and the accessories in the bathroom for the guests were very nice.

In such a business hotel with these prices you can expect a free parking for the guests, that won't have to look for one in the street (or pay another 15 euro) like the receptionist suggested. Also the receptionist should be able to advise the guests on driving directions from the hotel to their destenation and not suggest using the internet, which isn't free, for it.

I liked the location it suited my needs and is the best hotel of its type in the vacinity. The room was very well cleaned and the in room complimentary drinks are very handy.

Parking at 15€ per night is a major shock so ended up parking on road looking at mostly empty car park. Breakfast is reasonablly good but with a little effort it could be great, more variety of cereal and replenishment of hot breakfast could help. I found if you were later than 8oc at the weekend you got nothing hot left, No Internet in room and Wifi serviously expensive at approx 9€ per day to sit in the lobby! Tv used to be better carrying some overseas channnels.

The reception staff was friendly and helpful, and spoke English well. There was a wide variety of good quality food for breakfast including fresh fruit.

The hotel was not in a great location but it only took a 20 min to get to the old part of town and just a 10 minunte walk to the water front.

Proximity to where I neede to be - not much else.

My second stay here now due to its proximity to my wife's family. I need to be back in Genova next week and will definately stay elsewhere. Was here 4 years ago and forgot why I didn't care for it. Smoking rooms are actually regular rooms - previous occupant may have been smoking. When I checked in, I inspected 2 rooms, both with smoke odor. Air Conditioning is turned off at midnight so if you need it cool in your room, you're out of luck. Reason given was that it is cool outside at night, so I guess they expect you to open your window and endure the street noise - and it is noisy given the hotel is adjacent to a major street in Genova. Lastly, the breakfast buffet is underwhelming and poorly tended

Nice size of the room and very good quality of materials used. Very clean and well mantained. Close to a supermarket. Very good gym ("palestra") and small sauna. Buffet breakfast was standard but certainly OK.

Parking could be an issue during high season. However, in low season, it is certainlt possible to find parking spots within 50 m of the hotel entrance. The staff could be a biy more proactively helpful and friendly.

Well design rooms.

Too far from city center. Aprx. 10 kms, 9 euros for internet ! 15 Euros for car parking.

Parking de l'hôtel complet ... Heureusement que nous sommes arrivés tard et nous avons pu nous garer sur une place du supermarché à côté (pas l'idéal quand même avec un bébé pour décharger toutes ses affaires).Lit bébé non dispo malgré la demande faite lors de la réservation.

Choisi pour sa localisation pour une nuit d'étape. Excellentes prestations matérielles. L'accueil est courtois, multi langues ce qui facilite les échanges. Lerapport qualité -prix proposé par Booking .com est excellent. Et la réservation impeccable. Merci

Les places de parking sont très limités! A vous de vous débrouiller: rue,petit parking supermarché à proximité...

Staff gentile e pronto asoddisfare le tue esigenze. Cibo squisito e abbondante compresa la prima colazione a buffet.
