AC Hotel Pisa by Marriott  

Clean, well air-conditioned rooms. Close to the airport (10mins by car). Shopping mall next to hotel (but not with any restaurants).

Neighbourhood not that great. Not on walking distance to the center.

The free mini bar of simple essentials I.E. water. Breakfast was very reasonable, parking was easy and late check in was very fast.

We would have liked an outside sitting area where we could have coffee in the morning or afternoon drinks before dinner. There was space outside which could be used for this purpose. The hotel was good but mainly geared to business stays. A shuttle bus occasionally into the city would have been useful.

Walls too thin

I liked the location considering we had a car . The room was nice . Modern design although we had problems to open and close the door at times as the card would not read the code . Breakfast was good but we had to wait 20 minutesto get any sort of cutlery (spoons/knives etc...)so not a good start of the day .But over all experience was fine .

Although Pisa is a very small town with limited attractions--which can be done in 4 hours--Marriott was a nice place to stay (which we did mostly since we saw everything Pisa had to offer in 4 hours). Hotel is nice but Pisa town wasn't

The only downfall of my stay at ac Hotel Pisa was the shower. The shower head was not working--it was taped to the pole which unglued and fell. I had to tie the shower head to pole using a towel so that we can take a shower. This should have been done checked before anyone was allowed to stay in room. Also, there is no bar service and no place to sit and drink. The provide a fridge so you have to purchase items and consume at room; restaurant also closes early and open for limited time

A decent hotel, decent bed, clean bathroom, fridge in room with a couple of complimentary soft drinks - nice touch.

We were leaving early - asked if they could do something for breakfast as we would leave before the start. We were told to ask the staff of the restaurant who said it would not be a problem and they would leave some pre prepared breakfasts and to ask at reception in the am. The morning receptionist was not suprised when there weren't any ! Seemed a common occurrence.
